Personally a bit of diversity in the models is good - any gang should have a variety of body shapes:

Slim and athletic
Big strong
Short and strong
Small
Some fat

Yep - some who are overweight - these are not all trained athletes - its a gang - some are going to be lazier, or rely on sheer bulk to get by - look at modern day gangers - some are very big lads and its not muscle!

Mixing the new models with the old should help this - lets face it by the background some of these girls are going to be pumped up bulking combat drugs - others on drugs that enable them to move quickly by burning body mass etc.

From the pictures on page 53, I'd say only the Irad Widow seem to be on the more stockier end of things.

Then again on page 54 bottom you can see the same model from a different angle, and it looks slightly slimmer. So I guess it's more about the paintjob and the angle than anything else.


But what gripes me the most is the hairdo. I like that ponytail/topknot, but the others are too over the top for my taste.

Sure, but to get those you need to have monoposed, models specifically designed for such shape, not mix and match kits.

Yet again, the paintjobs are doing those models no favours. We've seen the naked plastics and they're slimmer than what is presented here. The Irad Widow especially has some bizarre freehand on the mid section.

To me house escher is supposed to be some mean bitches. Some sex appeal would fit quite well. The old miniatures had that, much thinner waists for example.

Just hoping its the camera angle and paintjob that is spooking me.

Way to ruin a useful thread on Necromunda. Rudeness to other users is not ok. Feel free to start a new Necromunda thread for rumours/release dates, but discussion of the appearance of female models isn't going to be a part of that.
