Broodlord: HIs equipment is fine, but drop the genestealers down to only 5 or 6, with extended carapace. Smaller squad means easier to hide behind terrain, means closer to the enemy. Also, in the case of an alpha mission, smaller squad means fewer wasted points, when you have the broodlord and 11 genestealers footslogging only 6" a turn, and being easily avoided.

Warriors: Too bloated. Drop the WS and Str upgrades. Get extended carapace. You'r looking at rending doing the brunt of your damage.

Genestealers: get extended carapace on these asap. without it, they'll be EASY bolter fodder

gaunts: alot of people prefer going with all spinegaunts, but I do like termagants sometimes. these are fine.

rippers: why? a brood of 3 bases wont be doing much. Drop them in favor of more gaunts.

Raveners: Go with ST/RC instead of ST/DV. You want Raveners running interference, by charging small squads and tying them up. You don't want them sitting in the open just to shoot with some S3 shots.

Zoanthropes are fine

Carnifex is a total mess. Re-work it completely into a gunfex with Venom Cannon and Barbed Strangler - you could use the ranged anti-tank firepower badly, that a gunfex provides. Add +1 Wound if you have the points. Enhanced senses are a given.

Thanks for the tips, man.

I was considering dropping the Toxin Sacs on the Warriors for the reasons you said, but I had the points left over.

I probably will listen to your advice on the Raveners and Rippers though... I'll replace those devourers with some swarms.

I was just about ready to re-do the entire list anyways. Thanks for the tips (especially the Broodlord & retinue tips... those things never came to mind.

Catch me if you can.
