Just a suggestion....

drop the prisms and instead take 2 falcons with all the toys, 2 x shuricannons. Move the serpent over to the banshees. Let the dragon shitch a ride on the falcon.

You save about 40 points which can be used for a couple more banshees, a pair of s cannons fo rthe jet bikes or some combination... perhaps mandi blasters for the exarch.

Give syou one less vehicle but the three remaining will be tough to deal with at only 1k points.

Apparently C&C is NOT very welcome. Great way to make an impression.

Well it's just I was looking for more advice about my list.

The changes you propose change the list drastically.

That *is* advice. And it definitely falls within C&C.

More to the point, just responding "No" is not very good response when someone takes the time to look over your list, and give advice.

And doesn't change your list much at all. It mainly changes two Prisms for one Falcon....

I like coredump's suggestions. Picking up the Falcons and a Scannon for the bikes is a great way to add in anti-horde. Banshees, Bikes w/o real guns, and your current WS will not stop hordes.

I'd also look into changing that HQ into a more useful unit, as right now its just a superbanshee. I don't think you'd have the points for a bike/missle/lance setup, but work on getting some mobility on him and/or some better hitting power.

Not a lot to say about the tactics involved. It's 40k, just send your paper unit at their rock unit <edit: right, paper beats rock>.  Currently I have 0 clue on how your list is made to work. You have a mix of mandatory long range (prism) and mandatory short range (bikes, banshee).  Load up those bikes for long range and/or kill the banshees, or find some way to bake up a more aggressive list. If half your army stays back, and half charges forward unsupported you will lose. Period.

With the suggested list you have a still very shooty, medium to short range list. Goal would be to hit one unit really hard each turn, and go for a big swing when you unload the transports.  Still, it feels light on points for 1k.  I know I'd be packing 30+ SoB fully mech in 1000 points if I were still playing, and there would be a problem surviving their firepower and survivability with such a low model count.
