Any one got a kindle if so download my dads first book, under kindle store search for Crossing the fields of conflict by R v Parker, its a fantasy story bit like lord of the rings but instead of hobbits it has newts!!

Redwall dont know what that is!! Its a adventure with newts firing thorns as arrows, riding frogs into battle its actually quite a good read its also got a bit of newt romance in it!!

Anyway I'm up for a bit of Bolt Action or Dreadball (possibly both ) on Monday if anyone is interested.

Ill bring Dreadball with me, my orc/gobbo team are nearly all painted but you can always use my spare human team or have you purchased your own team?

Well I'd like to get at least a couple more game in before I throw myself in to a league.

Practice league??? It dont really matter to much just want to see what the team building element is like, nothing competetive.

Well the initial team building element is fairly simple from what I've read (downloaded the free rulebook while it was available). In my case it's just 2 guards and 6 strikers, no coaching dice and 1 card. Starting a team really isn't difficult it'll be the other league rules that confuse me for a while.

I'm sure I'll be able to cope though.

BTW my team is built now, although only 1 has any paint on it.

So, who fancies playing in a 40K campaign?

The idea is to play for about 4 months, with one phase per month, 2 games per phase. Starting at 750 points, and building up 250 points per phase.

Really enjoyed Dreadball last night Leon, it was nice to at least win one game.

I would most definitely be interested in a campaign. this will be a great way to start the new year !

Well I'm up for giving Kings of War a go at some point and I'm sure that some of the other Warhammer Fantasy players wouldn't mind giving it a go at some point after all there's nothing to stop them using their existing collections in some form. I'm sure trying out Infinity and Bolt action won't be too tricky either.

Just a heads up guys sometime in the next few days I am going to be starting a new thread and asking for the mods to lock this one. Since Spanky has stepped back from his current role(s) and can't really keep an eye on this thread any more it makes sense to start a new one.

Leon I just ordered myself a copy of dreadball, so having a board, rules etc for the tournament won't be an issue.

Dreadball was good fun last night Duane.

Hope everyone got home safely last night. It was tricky for me doing 25mph at most down the A11. Didn't get home until nearly 11.

Wasnt that bad at 1pm, done few donuts on the way as no one around great fun!

Roll on dreadball league as yes nick 2 awsome games one a piece and both very close, 1-0 wins.

We going to kick the lague off next week??
