Tharn Wolfriders Link Tharn Wolf Riders box set Details : An eerie chorus of howls precedes the attack of wolf riders. These bloodtrackers astride huge duskwolves strike faster than most enemies can react. The wolves pull down their prey with powerful jaws, and their riders hurl javelin after javelin. Soon nothing remains on the field but meat for crows and the sound of howls fading into the distance. Tharn Wolf Riders come in a box set of three (PIP 72024), and players may add up to two additional blisters (PIP 72025) to create a full unit of five models. A player may have one unit of Tharn Wolf Riders for every 500 points in his Circle Orboros horde. <table align="center" id="card_metadata"> <tbody> <tr> <td> Product Code: 72024</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Price: $51.99 USD</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

$51.99 for 3?!?!?
Jeebus.
They're nice, but not that nice. I'll just stick the 20-odd GW Goblin Wolf Riders I could get for that.

Yeah, the biggest problem with the PP cavalry is that they're all unique models, so each set they release has its own mold, which means Metal mounts as opposed to plastic based Warhammer ones.
HOWEVER.
That also means that the mounts themselves are all unique.

Yeah, it's pricey. They are pretty darn sweet, though.
And stop bringing up gobbo wolf riders. I just got over my desire to do an all gobbo-wolf-riding horde. I don't need encouragement.

Those are real nice, but that is a lot for three models. Plus, the non-leader models are not all that unique. The wolves are the same except the head and the riders are exactly the same save for some posing differences.

Take a look at the updated Release Schedule: PIP 42007 Allies Kayazy Assassins Unit Box (6 Models) - $29.99 PIP 42008 Allies Kayazy Assassins (2 Models) - $9.99 PIP 71025 Trollblood Long Riders Cavalry Unit Box (3 Models) - TBD PIP 71026 Trollblood Long Rider Cavalry (1 Model) - TBD PIP 72024 Circle Orboros Tharn Wolf Riders Cavalry Unit Box (3 Models) - $51.99 PIP 72025 Circle Orboros Tharn Wolf Rider Cavalry (1 Model) - $16.99 KAYAZY ASSASSINS The kayazy, merchant-princes of the new Khadoran Empire, have long employed bands of skilled and ruthless bladesmen to settle scores. Now these private soldiers go south to protect their masters’ investment in the war. With a swift dueling style honed on the pitiless streets, these casual killers easily avoid unfavorable fights to attack in a group and quickly dispatch even well armored foes. Kayazy Assassins come in a box set of 6 (PIP 42007), and players may add up to two additional blisters (PIP 42008) to create a full unit of ten models. A player may have up to two units of Kayazy Assassins for every 500 points in his Khador army. TROLLBLOOD LONG RIDERS Long Riders gallop into battle atop thick-framed, powerfully muscled bison and easily shatter enemy lines with their long-handled axes. The raw power and unparalleled force these creatures produce can even send a titan tumbling back into the mud. The calls of Madrak Ironhide and Hoarluk Doomshaper have brought these riders south to war, and they will shatter anything standing against them. Long Riders come in a box set of three (PIP 71025), and players may add up to two additional blisters (PIP 71026) to create a full unit of five models. A player may have one unit of Long Riders for every 500 points in his Trollblood horde. THARN WOLF RIDER An eerie chorus of howls precedes the attack of wolf riders. How come all the wolfs don't have Night Lord wings on their heads?
I like the idea of trolls rideing buffalo, the main question is it going to be Commanche trolls on American bison or VC trolls on water buffalos.

<3 for the Tharn ladies in general, nice to see more of the savage gals. All the same, I look forward to the Trolls on bison, should be pretty intense stuff, if not as busty as the Tharn - Boss Salvage

Yes, yes... PP cavalry is expensive. Just like when the WARMACHINE cavalry came out. You have to look at what you're getting. What you're getting is 3 models that are roughly the size of a heavy warjack, they're on large bases. These wolf riders will make those goblin wolf riders look like they're riding wolf pups. The Tharn riding them are man sized models, so that should put things in perspective, I hope.

Ugh. Those models don't appeal to me at all. Good thing I don't play Circle. Maybe I'm alone in hating a lot of the stuff PP puts out.

"The convoluted wording of legalisms grew up around the necessity to hide from ourselves the violence we intend toward each other. Between depriving a man of one hour from his life and depriving him of his life there exists only a difference of degree. You have done violence to him, consumed his energy. Elaborate euphemisms may conceal your intent to kill, but behind any use of power over another the ultimate assumption remains: 'I feed on your energy.'" - Frank Herbert |

Gotta be Khador. The Kazay represent the investors behind the Khadoran war effort, they're not likely switch sides.
