HQ:
Lysander, 4 terminators, 2 assault cannons, tank hunters
Librarian, fear, fury, terminator armor, 4 terminators, 2 assault cannons, tank hunters

Elites:
5 terminators, 2 assault cannons, tank hunters
5 terminators, 2 assault cannons, tank hunters
5 terminators, 2 assault cannons, tank hunters

Troops:
5 marines, vet, power weapon, combat shield, teleport homer, flamer, frag grenades
5 marines, lascannon, tank hunter

I've been wanting to play an army with lots and lots of terminators, I really like the new models, and Lysander is the best bet for playing a terminator heavy army.

The core of the army was never in doubt, I was going to cram in as many terminators as I can fit.  But the troop choices always eluded me.  I played around with using scouts, regular plas/las marines, even using scout bikers as homing beacons.  In the end none of them made me cry eureka!

Now this list is based around the idea that there is a lone squad of Imperial fist marines that has been cut off from the rest of the chapter, they are being surrounded and the sergeant is desperately trying to call for help.  And who should answer the call?  Why lysander and 24 other terminators.

This will give me a great oppurtunity for some great conversions.  It just fits with the whole marine fluff so well!  The few against the many, the fact that the Fists are tank hunters, and their atitude of fighting till the last man.

I know that there are better builds for a lysander army, but this one just really clicks with me.

If nothing else, it'll look pretty....

Yep, if you are going termie heavy is the way to go but your quote above makes it the best possible army for you.
