I am here. please understand that a very good business oppurtunity came up and sorta disrupted my whole idea of a plan.....


I am working on the titans but it has been slow going on the main construction phase but now that the vast majority of it is done the actual standing up and detailing will go quicker....

It took about four hours to detail the toes for the two Iron Warriors themed warhounds and I expect that when it comes down to the custodes and thousand sons preheresy themed duo that the non custom detail will take less than that. then the custom detail for them will be fairly quick as well.....


I have also started another thunderhawk but it won't have any interior or lights. I am also standing up two or three more reavers starting soon. I expect that the main construction without much detail or rivets will go quickly for those because the templates I made for them are fairly complete and easy to follow....

i am behind schedule on these, I know, bit I am hoping to have them mostly complete in three weeks....

Priority goes to the one reaver, the thunderhawk, the twin Iron Warriors and the custodes and 1K sons....

aftr that I will finish my four (2 nurgle and 2 khorne) and my two reavers.....

My leave is officially over today and I will be back to work and I am sorta glad. It seems that I got more time to build when I had to be at work. Also, I will be around more on the threads....

when I do finally update I will be showing the IW wahounds and all tue pieces of the others and I will be ahowing my first commercially available work.... I am not sure when it will hot the website but hopefully not too far off....


In the meantime, consider please my next commercial project for your input and thouhts.....

A preheresy land speeder with minigun and rocket options as well as a passenger seated gunner weapons platform with two or three weapons options.....


The buyer is very interested in this project so design on it will be extensively researched.....

I already have a fairly solid idea what I want to do with it but player input is also very highly prized.....



@Dave, Thank you very much for your concern. I know I haven't been living up to the league expectations and it is a mix of overload in family needs (which obviously cannot be ignored) and the fact that this vacation was apparantly needed for more reasons than gtting away from work....

I assure you that I still wish to represent the League with a good strong scratch building article and constant flow of regularly scheduled updates on a variety of project aimed to improve my skills and entertain and educate the masses....

I wonder how many have unsubbed, as a result of my staycation? I hope no one is dissappointed......

the new project sounds very good! seems your recent work for the dreadnoughts arms paved the way for much smaller projects? sounds very interesting to say the least!

soooo.... who´s done that mini? you or horst? the claws look very good...but my beady eye sees a horrible atrcity... a mold line on the sword...even the choas gods wont overlook this!!!

Yeah dude that mold line has to be a trick of the.light cause I remember trimming him out and it worried me silly about breaking that sword getting it off but did a good job....

Ok, so I got an update for ya’ll. So Let me get into it cause it has been so long:

I am currently standing up the Iron Warrior Warhounds. They are ready for the finishing detailing and engine pods:




Of course, there is still a lot to do and I haven’t gotten the Thunderhawk frame or Reaver together yet:




I will be starting them soon, but I have had to prioritize with my time a lot lately.

Below is an idea of the Pre heresy Thousand Sons emblem that I want to put on LSG’s on Warhound. The cricut cut it for me.....

I still have yet to get a good plan for the Custodes but I am close….



And, finally, the item that has messed up my whole timeline on things…..

Below are pics of the Dreadnaught autocannons I have done up for my buddy with the business…. (you may have heard of Chapterhouse, no?)

I am going to redo the barrels before I ship them out tomorrow but just to tighten up the coiling a little…..



AND, Paintstuff (who is recovering well now from back surgery) has painted some on my Demon Princes. I made and painted the base on the wingless one but all the airbrushing is his. I think he is fantastic and getting better. I plan on having him paint up other things I do…….










Ok, so I know it has been a while and that I am way behind schedule (yes, when building for others you must maintain a schedule) but I am getting healthier and have more time for building on my hands starting tomorrow.....

I don't know what the significance/difference between the conehead helmets and the kaiser-type helmets though. It captions the kaiser-type helmets as the Custodes command squad though (broken into 2 pics/pages)

Every time GW publishes an art book, they are always worth the money, I highly recommend them!

I have The Horus Heresy Collected Visions, The Art of Warhammer 40k, and The Emperor's Will.

For some reason, they are always a limited run for some reason. I had my hands on both the Liber Chaotica and the Art of The Sabbat Worlds Crusade, but didn't get them and regretted it.

wow I need those art books, I've taken a skim through the emperor's will and that has some great pics in them

Quick Update. Work done this morning before returning to work....

All the leg and toe pistons are done and at lunch I will add in the hip pistons and maybe the pelvis detail. This will call the lower half done for these two minus the shin guards and a little bit of detail I have planned but not designed.....

No, Dave, Not a Martin. Better in many aspects, though. It is a Lotus 1992 Dreadnaught. Sought after, now after 20 years, for up to 8 times its original price for its sustain and tone in studio recordings. I was once offered $4000.00 for it by a well known, yet to remain unnamed, artist with whom I am aquainted. That guitar was my wife's, then girlfriends, first Valentines day present to me 20 years ago and only retailed for about $200.00....

Martin, on the otherhand, sells for that new and has a much better tone off the factory floor. It is a shame the Lotus had to age to get its tone....

What you can't see in the photos is the Kerry King BC Rich that happens to be autographed by Queensryche.....

Man I love that guitar....

I also have a British made Acoustic Electric and a Fender Starcaster.....

Both Fine guitars in their own right...

I can and I will be. I happen to love the Harridan model and have planned extensively to do my own....

Very cool! I have an Alvarez Dreadnought, amazing sound for a lower-end acoustic.

I have found I prefer lower end guitars....


The sound can be manipulated with a mix of strings and by deadening the body with a small sand bag or such and they have a certain feel to them.....

A certain je ne sais quoi.....

I haven't played too many expensive models myself, but a guy who is used to playing Martins and Gibsons all his life played my Alvarez and was blown away by how well a $300 guitar performed and sounded. That's gotta say something about them.

I like Alvarez. I haven't played many expensive ones either, but a few really nice Gretchs....

Oh, and one Stratocaster that was really nice but I was very young and didn't know what I had or was doing...
