Great work, very nice painting and conversion. If I had to nickpick it would be I'm not a big fan of the shoulder across his stomach and the neon skin, though very well executed, is too bright for a warboss (in my opinion). My favorite features on the mini are the banner pole (nice use of skaven bitz) and the extra wires coming out of his head are top-notch.

Yeah I spotted it yesterday when I posted them, silly thing is I cant really see it on the model, its a case of the camera showing ya things you cant see, it will be fixed , not sure if that plate is gonna stay there much longer.

The pack was alot of fun, its a spot the bit game for sure, some old school bitz in there. Yeah that silly gut plate seems to be a bit of contention with alot of people, the reason its there is to add some bulk to the mid section, with the addition of all the stuff I did to him he was very small looking below the chest, it was to try to fix that, I am still not to sure what to do with it. The skin is so he stays in line with the rest fo the army. I have been working on this force for as long as the newer ork figs have been out ( currently I have over 4000 points worth painted ), the Dark skin for Bosses and such is a relatively recent Idea from GW there was no such "color seperation" back in 2nd edition when I began to paint orks. I like the brighter colors but its not for every one.

I Like that bit too, but its not a sheild bit, its a glyph plate from the rogue trader battelwagon, little vintage part right there

As a side note He lead my boyz into battle for his first match and came away with a victory including crushing a venerable dred, a handfull of marines, and a scout squad, all buy is lonesome.

With a victory like that, it might be time to be adding to the banner pole, a space marine helmet or something

Excellent! the model pops big time, i like the conversions as well, they really add to the overall feel. Very nice work, and the apint job is aces.

Yeah, I have plans to "upgrade" the base at a later date, the thing is He is an addition to a 4000 point plus painted ork force so to make his base different he would look out of place with the rest of the force. I totally agree the base is way to plain.
