Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Been building a spray booth for my airbrush. Tired of dealing with paint fumes and dust.

So I just went and did it! Materials cost just under $100 and my woodworking ain't the best, but it doesn't matter all I need it to do is vent fumes outside!

Going to finalize the wiring on the fan tonight and test it out.

I almost bought one of the little ones but I'm probably just gonna move my setup to the garage and leave the door open with a fan next to me.

I think my airbrush is still borked so while I delay purchasing a ~$30 nozzle to maybe possibly fix it I will probably continue assembling deadzone minis. I may finish transferring zombie marines to clear acrylic bases too. Or nothing, I tend to be lethargic this time of year.

Well, probably too busy/distracted today to get anything done... but if I can manage I want to get some more paint down on my deadzone plague faction. I've got one of the bigger guys ready to dip before he gets his last details, and I've got a bunch of little guys that are ready to be painted and finished.

Of course there is more important things to do also, like clean the house.

Still working on my Druze Shock Team. Sekban went together pretty well, but they were the harder box due to every model having arms that join on the gun, which are the bane of my existence, so they were done first.

Trying to figure if I should take a break from hard models and next to the relatively simply Gorgos, or continue tearing my heair out and do some Kameel remotes.

Probably Gears of war as little of my deadzone stuff is actually put together and none of the terrain is built.

Tonight I am going to probably play some computer games, and I may finish the warmachine models that need washing.

Also might finish the capacitor cooler for my leviathan, and figuring out how to magnetize the other backpack. Once the magnets are done, I can clue the whole thing together and put it in the box of things to prime.

Tonight I finally painted a bit, not much, but some which is a lot more than none I worked on getting my stage 3 plague mutants finished, they've still got a little ways to go. I'm on the color that I use on all of my plague models now so it'll be a bit grindy, but when I'm done they'll all be almost done.

My wife confiscated my Mobile Painting Command Center and so I've been trying to come up with an alternative. I thought it was a good use of existing resources, but she apparently feels that the rolling kitchen island should be used for kitchen stuff and not be covered in paints and models

Trying to fill the void I grabbed a slide-off panel from my previous gaming rig, probably a 15-18" square metal plate a few mm thick, it's fairly sturdy and big enough to get by. I'm gonna cover the top in that blue 1" insulation foam you can get at Lowes or similar, with holes/sockets cut out of the foam to slot in my wet palette, water, a selection of paints, brushes, and brush soap. I'll also be able to use it to store minis mounted on nails simply by sticking the nails down into the foam (same with brushes).

I just have to park myself next to a decent light source and get a little more used to the 'reclining painting with both hands suspended pose' instead of using the edge of a table or desk as is my habit.

I'm also going to see about condensing all of my currently built DZ scenery into one 2x2' space, to see how high I can get it to go
