Looks like a good find, particularly for anyone interested in running a modern or pulp era game (or 40k on a "primative" world). I wonder how much work it is to assemble those?

After all, these are dolls... No! I refuse to admit that I've been collecting metal dolls for the last 20+ years.

For cheap buildings look for Village of Fear or Dorf Des Grauens (sp) as it is known in Germany. You get some part cardstock part plastic buildings, the more intact ones are very good, the ruined ones less so because of the thinness of the card.

Not easily, and most images dont do it justice. You can find it on boardgamegeek, but if you want the buildings, and I DO recommend them type in Dorf Des Grauens on eBay and choose settings that will enable sellers in Germany to list. Village of Fear was a crap game, it only really sold in Germany. One of the building and a ruin is on sale right now, for less than £2. I will try to get links.

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/206194Above are pictures of the two of the full buildings in the set. TheManor and the Inn. To use them for warhammer recut the cardstock walls and add windows and doors from GW plastic buildings. http://cgi.ebay. de/DSA-Dorf- des-Grauens-Schwarze-Muehle_W0QQitemZ140137138252QQihZ004QQcategoryZ40858QQcmdZViewItem Here is a picture of the windmill (scroll down on auction page). The rof and mill is plastic the sides cardstock. All it needs is a plastic door and some cladding to be perfect. If you buy a set of the new GW buildings, or some Mordheim sprues you will get enough extra windows to do up your Dorf Des Grauens miniatures. This will give you a total of five civilian buildings, two GW and thye other three being just as big, of good quality and a tiny fraction of the total price.
