That dreadnought is basically what made me topple over and start a second army.Slight conversion on the arms, each one made with the launch ramps of my Katyusha (other thread),paperfile plastic (dont know the name, hardcover plastic folders to stock papers) to wrap around as armor and lego legs for the arm.Other klaw is the same plastic with thin plastic leafs to make the dags.
To explain the cammo and how to do it,its really simple.I started with a bright green basecoat in spray paint, let it dry -well- (crucial),applied randomly triangular cut paper scotchtape (yellow and very easy to rip),making sure it goes well in the joints etc.Step 2 is to recoat the model with whichever colour you want it to be mainly,in this case black.Let it dry again, then simply take tweezers and peel the tape off.Its important to let it dry well so that the undercoat doesnt come off with the tape
Nice job and a neat technique for the camo. I have used tape similarly for airbrushing. The only suggestion I have is to see if your camera has different light sampling settings. With the white backdrop the camera is underexposing the model. My camera can be set so it samples the light only off the focal point, which would really help here.
