Since this battle is way to long to explain fully, ill just put in the highlights. It was a take and hold game

Necron Report:

Total Casualties: 257 (rest phased out from 75% casualties)

Total Rounds holding objective: 1

Blood Exemplar Report:

Total Casualties: 21

Total Rounds Holding objective: 2-6

I could not believe how amazing this game went. I'm not so good at painting, but im a fair tactician, and it basically all came down to a few lucky 3+ armor saves, but a few fell to an effing monolith and guass cannons (gauss cannons are so annoying!!!!). Also, he didn't roll too well for the ressurection thingymabober that necrons have. Anyway, feel free to ask questions!

I'm sure this was an interesting game, but I don't think anyone reading this post is going to be able to appreciate that. This is the battle report forum, so perhaps you should consider posting, I don't know, a battle report, maybe?

Hey maybe i did put one up there, so, why don't you get glasses? I said HIGHLIGHTS, not full battle report, I don't have time to do that stuff.

Then don't post your NON-battle reports in the BATTLE REPORT section. Seriously, what is anyone supposed to get out of this? A 2.8k battle and all you have to tell us is that you shot up a bunch of stuff, and he died? Wow, great.

Is this a joke?

Well it was marines vs 'crons, maybe there isn't much to tell ...

How about an idea of the lists involved?  Curious to know what the marines brought to the table (i.e. how many ass cannons, etc).

I think Highlights are a good idea. Here's the highlights from my last game:

I won, he lost. What more do you need to know?

Sheesh. No time to do a battle report, but enough time to surf the internet. This reminds me of the story of the ugly clam:

There was once a clam so ugly that everybody died. The end.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

If think THAT was a good game, here's the highlights from my last one:

I brought an army, he brought an army. Somebody else set up the terrain. We rolled some cubes with dots and numbers on them. (A couple even had arrows and circles!) I think I won, but it was hard to tell through the rain of cubical objects. I went home, and I think he did too.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Don't forget the weird noise from your opponent while tanks are being moved. I think it goes something like this, "mmmmmmmm"

"The one difference between me, and a crazy person is I'm not crazy."
