Hi Gents

Ok, so I've got more than a few GK Termies...however, due to the lack of variety supplied by our beloved GW, I've decided I need to personally expand on their range!

A simple mod is required, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it! Basically I want to remove the helmeted head from a GK Terminator, but without damaging the rest of the mini! Guys, what is the best way of doing this.....?

I've done some test runs on older minis, I've tried drilling, but to do this I need to clamp the mini good and proper! this leads to damaging the mini with the clamp! I've tried filing, but again this only works with straight forward surfaces, getting into the head area of the GK Termi will be more complex!!

Please help, any ideas or better still proven methods would be more than gratefully recieved!!

Cheers

Delephont

Take a dremel to it!

..or, you could try just filing/cutting down the outer parts of the head, just enough to leave you with a head frame to add a new variety of details on via greenstuff...

..or, you could wrap his body in blankets and blankets of tissues, THEN clamp him down nice and tight and take an electric drill to his brain...

..or, you could put a feather on his head and call it gravy :-P

And God said unto Abraham, "Take this mighty bolter, my son, and smite thy enemies from afar. Fear not, Emperor protects..er, I mean, well, youknowwhatImean."

I have found that if wrap the mini in a towel then in to the vice it works well to hold it and not do any damage. Also make a starter hole in the top of the head with a pin vise makes drilling easier.
