I would say that at present, with the new Greatcoats in, and the superheavies, my IG is approaching 15k, if not already there.

That would be a very lopsided campaign methinks. Also, need for traveling is not cheap. Although, I was thinking how cool it would be to see that Zeppelin in combat action!

ouch flamers against a zeppelin...could go both ways as the blimp is of course not painted... if i paint it as cloth then you win, if i do metal mesh then your in trouble...

I figured Vik, that was why the one thing of crazy sacrifice for the Emperor and the Konfederacy exists with my guys, if they are getting pummeled, they will aim the meltas to the deck and blast the armor to get to the gasbags, they are that crazy!

If they were REALLY crazy, they'd attempt to kill enemy soldiers by throwing thier meltaguns at them.
I just got the image of a flamer running out like a water pistol, ending up with a piddly little stream that goes about 5cm...heh heh heh...

well then again my grandfather told me of 10000 russian partisan rushing from the woods mostly armed with sticks and stones to attack the german small force...mowed down by heavy machinegunfire... but nevertheless they got the Lt. of my granddad from his halftrack...pew pew pew..i will remeber this story of him forever...

I just come up with wild names all of the time, some have roots in things.
Oh, I have read accounts of squads of Russians with one rifle amongst ten men, all had ammo clips, if the rifle guy dropped, the next guy would pick it up and use it instead of the farm implement. If Russians were gonna loose, they would attempt to do so taking as many enemy as possible with them. Partisans would even put a grenade pressed under a corpse so that when the enemy pulled on it, the grenade pin would release and BOOM!
Arkeletskya, a world where the volcanoes spewed radioactives into the air making it nuclear winter w/o a war, but just as nasty as if one had occurred, hence the heavy protective gear
