In the meantime, given what I know about the person in that picture and what I know about your Dakka account, I will assume that it is not you. Furthermore, your account will be suspended if you continue to make false claims as to pictures like these. We also don't allow people to post pictures claiming to have painted other people's models. Kandahar Afghanistan was my main area. I FoB'ed jump quite a bit during the surge. Was on otherside of window of the MRAP heading back to KAF when the homemade claymore went off on a berm

aha, I can agree with you that homemade mines are nasty. here (Nepal) still have bombs in the streets and jungle that the rebels (they won) left over, that is one of the main reasons not to pick up trash here.

From the crew behind us we kinda figure out the insurgents were trying to get the turret gunner since he's exposed. Just the berm wasn't high enough. Also the regular insurgent basic math skill is a bit off. All I heard was "BooM", seeing pits magicaly appear in the window, the ringing in my ears, the burning sensation I had going down my ankle, and lots of  uck being said

Hah, it's not the first time I've heard the exact same thing, my best mate said the Christian boy band the first time he saw the photo. I actually play the drums for a metal band here though, so it's kind of the opposite site of the spectrum  Not to the point of death metal or anti-christ though, just to clarify.
Anyway, that was taken I believe... March last year. Moreso just fond of that photo because it was just an amazing day. My hair is a lot lighter then it normally is in that photo though.
I do like the espionage comment though! So I think I'll stick with that
