The 15mm Barricade is $39,95 plus shipping for everything in the pictures and product description.

...So, we are thinking of trying to adjust our prices so that we can give free shipping on most of our products. This would help reduce the sticker shock on shipping and seemed popular with the Hellbadger. What do all of you think?

I had a look at your site and really love to get the Barricade kit 15mm but worried that postage to New Zealand will make it end up in the "to hard" basket.

We are trying to solve the shipping cost issue for international customers in general right now. On Monday, we will be working with the post office, so hopefully we will have something worked out by the end of next week.

Excellent. We would also like any feedback you might have on the 15mm aspect of the minis. Is there a specific type of terrain that is most useful in that scale?

If the 15mm Barricade does well, we would like to try expanding our 15mm line as well as trying other scales. How much interest is there in 6mm or 10mm terrain like the Barricade kit?

you might want to have a look at some of the Kickstarter projects that were 15mm and see what areas they will need.

for example All quiet on the Martian front is a Weird World War I style game where we see nations of the world battling Tripods from Mars.
or there is Battle group Kursk and Overlord that uses 15mm or 20mm scale set in WWII so if you did a concrete bunker style barricade or even tried some kind of trench system it would be great.

I am looking at using the 15mm Barricade for AQoTMF as they use alien tech to make new weapons and defences.

with regards to 6mm which would you cater to 1/285 or 1/300 scale as there is a difference it might not be much of a difference to some players but to others its quite a difference.
10mm is hard one to say as I have never gamed with that scale I played around with 1/285 scale and have upgraded to 15mm scale in the last year or so.

if you expand you range into WWII 15mm then you could cater to the All quiet on the Martian front, FoW , BGO, BGK and Battlegroup Fall of the Third Reich [when it hits in November]

be happy to test any of your products <wink> to see how it copes being sent to New Zealand <evil grin>

Cheers

Thank ou, Lord Greywolf. I'm looking into those a bit now. We are very interested in Weird War 2 and SF and such, but want to avoid going for purely historical kits.

On another note, we just added a prodect description text to our standard Barricade kit. Please let me know what you think.

The PF-388 Barricade is the latest, and final, word in perimeter security. Whether defending your manor, colony, island fastness or religious compound, no one protects better than the PF-388 Barricade. Twentyeight-fifteenths larger than the Cosmosoviet state-of-the-art in population suppression, the PF-388 is designed to withstand any onsaught imaginible, from rampaging zombies to ravenous robots, from implacable aliens to the destitute poor. No one walls you away from the unpleasantness of reality like the PF-388!

Customer testimonials:

"The PF-388 is amazing! It protected my island mansion from the Matrix Commandos. It eats Green Berets for breakfast! And now, it's very hungry." --Val Verde, President for Life

"The PF-388 is the culmination of six billion years of defense technology evolution. The PF-388 defended the Qing dynasty from the beast Humbaba, and again a thousand years later at the battle of Jericho. The PF-388 survived 15 consecutive Costmart Black Fridays. The PF-388 withstood Moon Nazis and Ancient Astronauts. Can't explain that!" --Professor Georgio A. Tsunkatse, Historical Station documentary expert

"The top secret [REDACTED] Foundation has found the PF-388 fairly successful at securing and containing [REDACTED], as well as protecting Safe and Euclid-desgnated facilities from [REDACTED]. Furthermore, the Barricades act as [REDACTED] in the case of [REDACTED] allowing for the successful reprocessing of class D personnel. Very handy." --Dr. Jack "B", [DATA EXPUNGED]

I plan on adding flavor text to every product over the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy reading it a bit.

PS: RITides, no badgers!

Hello everyone. We just wanted to update you with what is happening in the angry world of badgers. First, the big, bad news:

Our gmail account randomly deleted all but four (4!) emails! Having a long discussion about this (and freaking out a little), we've discovered that gmail has been deleting some of our emails randomly for months! If you have sent us an email that went unanswered, please PM us here on Dakka Dakka or on Facebook and let us know! We are very sorry for the inconvenience and looking into transferring everything over to a yahoo account.

(For example, someone contacted us about custom base bottoms, and the email went missing. I had assumed that Terry took care of the issue and simply followed an aggressive policy of email folder hygiene. He assumed that I had deleted everything for similar reasons. This would have been back in May or June.)

Naturally, this has pushed back some of our other work. We will spend some time next week figuring out how to reduce shipping or make it less of an unpleasant surprise upon checkout. Most of our customers are outside the US, so this is an important issue for us.

The Cthulhu gate is progressing slowly.

We are looking into the 15mm market and others as time permits.

Have you looked into simply shipping via First Class? It's been working really well for me for international shipping thus far (I switched over to it after USPS raised their international shipping rates exorbitantly this year).

Looking forward to the update

We have made some pretty big changes to our postage. The biggest change is the flat rate for shipping. This is how it will work:

Both domestic and international customers will see three options:

1. Standard (domestic) or First Class (international) - on some domestic orders this will be less than $15.
2. $15 flat rate
3. Priority (both domestic and international) - you pay the actual shipping cost and will receive your order sooner.

The most you will have to pay is $15, but it could cost less domestically, and you will have the choice to pay more for an expedited shipment.

We also have a couple of deals:

For the next two weeks, if you spend $200 you will get a $25 towards your next order.

We have a 4-for-the-price-of-three deal for the new 15mm Barricade.

The Dark Fortress is up for sale. I will post pictures later this weekend. (The Cthulhu Gate will be sold later, but will fit with the front gate on this model.)

Now that is dead sexy.

The new postage rates suddenly catapults it and the rest of your stuff into affordability-town for us funny-talkin' furriners, too!

Looks nice.
Only the main door looks out of place: Small and not Elvish enough. How about using the form and size of the arcade in the rest of the walls?

That is lovely; really quite nice.

Though I've been too busy to paint it yet, I'd also like to mention the Hellbadger was a pleasure to assemble, it's a top notch kit and I'd recommend it highly.
