DaBoss is the Irish chap in the foreground. What he's doing there is trying to clandestinely capture the rarely photographed German custom of having a quick, slightly painful gak at the table. As you can see, he is not quite able to suppress a smirk as his companion snaps the pic of this bizarre Teutonic mealtime ritual.

From Borderland to Icewind Dale FM?

actually, the first is some gear taken from my RA gear ("mr.Snippy"), together with a random german army jacket (still need a black/white jacket to fit, and wasn't allowed to take my gun with me).

the second one is just some medieval gear to represent somebody from that era, was a day in school where the grad people dressed up as such, and my buddy had an actual chainmail and other stuff, so yeah...

but i see your point in "from borderlands to icewind dale"

Good God! Kevin Smith posts on Dakka!

He says as though its a joke Alf hasn't heard before.

It's the hockey jersey that does it... Before I started following hockey, no one said I looked like Kevin Smith. By the way, don't forget to catch my show Comic Book Men on AMC.

But the Sens? Of all the teams... the Sens?

There are plenty of posts on Dakka about why I support the Sens, most of it has to do with choosing not to support the three cities near me (Detroit, Columbus, and Pittsburgh, all "rival" cities for Cleveland for some reason or another) and the rest of it has to do with how I kept going back to their games the first week of the 2012/2013 season when Dish Network gave their subscribers NHL insider, and I consumed like 10 games in a week

Yes, the North Yorkshire Crumpets just defeated the West Froblinshire Pigeons 17-nil to snatch the pennant, in a game that will live long in the memory of all sports fans, everywhere.

Given the lace hanging in the top of the shot, along with the picture quality, I conclude that this picture was taken with a shoe.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. I think I might vomit... not just from the headgear suggestion, but from the fact that the Senators are playing terribly atm...

Also I only wear 3 hats, my fraternity hat, my Cleveland Browns hat, and my hat from my old groundskeeping job. I'd wear a Senators hat, but I don't feel like paying shipping on the hat and all of the "Lids" in the area sell hockey hats, but they're only the popular teams. Like they don't even have a Blue Jackets hat for sale

Don't ask.

Utterly painful past few seasons. They used to be a respectable side until the higher ups fired the manager after an unlucky streak; the one they have now is completely under-experienced and out of his league - which won't be an issue for long considering the bookies' odds on their relegation this season.

Now the Wexfield Rams, they're a good side. Solid performances since the start of the season coming off a huge team reshuffle and a good few buys in the last transfer window, as well as a coach who knows what the feth he's doing. They're not as good as the Hollyhead Bulls were in their prime during 2005-2006 and 2006-2007, but I think they have the potential to get there if they try. I have a feeling they'll place high this season.
