Wasnt this a japanese armored car? Or they had something like this?

Very nice models, though I am not sure about some of the scale.

I think everyone had something that looked almost similar to that at one time. I think I have seen the Japanese one you are thinking of.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

From the ones I've seen in the flesh (or at least in the iron) they really were pretty small. During WWII engines were not as powerful as they are today, fuel and other logisits were a bigger issue so tanks were just smaller. A modern Abrams (powered by a frigging jet turbine) is like twice the size of a Sherman.

(breaks out copy of Armored Fighting Vehicles)

yeah a Sherman was 5.9m long, an Abrams 9.7m.

WWII armored cars like the Marmon come in at 4.9m long, 6000kg.

Hellfire, I believe that one is italian. Armored cars were quite common, and between WWI and WWII many different designs were tried, but with the development of larger motors and bigger guns, they were left behind for jeep like transports and MBTs.

Yeah, I saw that one. I think if I can get my hands on the 5" jeepney I'll be good.

Yeah, either the 1/64 or the 1/43 would look okay with 28mm, I reckon.

I think that is a Japanese armored car. Or atleast the Vickers-Crossley was used in japan during WWII. Though I was thinking type 87 or type 92.
