Yep, you got it.  I guess the missile could be more embellished (or at least not look like a plastic tube ), but nice and simple.

And on images, you have to use the Dakka Reply Editor and insert pics with the little pic buttom.  Yep, UBB is better ...

I like the one on WIP, I was looking at that before. Seems like the best way to go really. If you want to do something really big (and expensive) you could try maybe converting it from 2 land raiders or a baneblade. For the rocket there might even be some model rockets you can get that will look good, then you can shoot your opponent in the head with it if you start lose

Nice idea. The Patriot missile battery in that set might make a good Manticore launcher.

are there rules for a deathstrike missile in apocalypse or anything, or is it just a modeling project?

I had heard it was 1 shot, unlimited range, strength D 10" template that did bad things to titans and possibly got to mess with the scatter dice. But that was a while ago, and it hasn't cropped up in the newer APOC rumors. My guess is that if it isn't in the big book, it'll be online when they release new datasheets up there.

Ya, it was just a modeling project at first. I just assume there will be rules, and if not, it still belongs on an APOC table.

I clicked on the links to the playsets and look what I found.

Look at the Predator..um I mean "Tank" and the Bas...I mean "Self-Propelled Artillery"

What really gets me it the Sponson placement and hull shape of the "Tank"

Interesting idea to use U-tube for modeling stuff. Might have to try it for some APOC crazyness too.

Looks nice. For my tastes at least, the missile is far to large for the vehicle. That's true of that old GD winner as well, and of course it's true of the Epic model, but I think that comes from the fact that all epic models had oversized weapons to allow for easy identification on a tiny, tiny model.

I'd keep the missile you have but enlarge the chassis so it's similar in size to the one you've linked to on Work In Progress.
