that archaon is the only one i know of in an impressive scale...you can carve off the spikes and fill in the chaos star on his flanks...there have been some impressive conversions to turn this guy into a empire knight...search through the cool mini galleries...

they're pretty expensive but there's a company called briar. they only make horse themed toys in many sizes (scales) . i have seen them in hobbytown usa & other specialty stores . most of the sizes are for barbie doll type toys(i have 2 daughters), but i've seen them small enuff for 28mm i think, in many different poses & sets. hope that might help.
