I really like the Avatar. I've always been a fan of the Spear.

Avatar looks sweet; however, the wave serpent kit however left me completely underwhelmed.

The Avatar is amazing. I bet lots of people who got the first FW Avatar will wish they'd waited.

The Serpent kit is meh, as stated, but is anyone really surprised? Come on, the whole "grav tank mk2" thing was always really lame.

I took them this long for the MKII serpent? I recall the model from last year with WIP pics from the british GD. Oh well, I guess its something...
They would have been better off making wraithguard that actually look cool as opposed to this.

The avatar is better than the first, but still kinda meh to me.

I want a lazy link at the top that links me to the lazy links at the bottom so I don't have to scroll down.

So what parts are actually different on the MkII? Just the little tail thing?

KOMMISSARS!! Not one but TWO Kommissars!! (Granted, their obviously based off the same mold, but still). Oh dearie me! I'll get three!

I love Commissars, I've been waiting for a FW one for so long now.

Also love the new Aeronautica bombers, even though they aren't stupendously new and radical. Makes me excited for Tactica Aeronautica. Long range recon ship with barely any guns has to do something wicked cool.

The Eldar stuff both surprises and confuses me. I can't imagine Eldar players being too terribly excited over these 'upgrades'.

Malcador is nice, but I dislike the whole idea of a turret on a Malcador. I might get this one though, just because that's some nasty firepower this puppy is mounting.

I don't know the FW avatar doesn't do it for me... I was exited when I heard that there is supposed to be a new one for the 4th edition codex(because i wasn't a fan of the Gw one) but it turned out to be just a FW release, which I didn't like either. And now the new one is also...so...boring. He looks bored. isn't that the guy supposed to be the reincarnation of the bloodgod of war and brimstone and murder and general evilness? This "Avatar" looks more like a sport on steroids who accidentally grabbed the Valium and not the dope. Seriously this "Battlecry" could also be a jawn!

On the other hand, these Krieg Commisars are supercool. I think FW cannot release any Krieg stuff I won't like. It's just WWI in all it's glory (not that I like WWI or to be more precise any War, but the Style somewhat appeals to me).

From what was whispered when it was released, the FW one is the one that was supposed to be released with the 4th edition codex.

It was originally intended for the core range, but they ran into either casting or budget problems (not sure which) and so handed it off to Forgeworld.

I dig the new avatar. I wasn't incredibly impressed with the pose of the first one but this does look cool.

I like the new avatar. That pose looks so... plausible. He's really going to throw that Doom That Wails.

I can't say that I like either of the FW offerings for the Avatar. To me they have awkward poses. The head is nice however. The MkII Wave Serpent isn't bad, I do like the new lower turret and the fan tail like the MkII Falcon.

I own the first FW Avatar and now wish I had the second instead.

I dig both avatars myself, glad to see the newer one isn't just a weapon swap. Both poses have something going for them - strolling through the throngs of weak mortals, or hurling that wailing doom for the kill.

I'm kinda tempted to pick up the Avatar just to convert it into Eva Unit 0...

Seems like there'd be slightly more affordable ways to do that conversion, though...
