Hey all.

As did many, I spoke to the FW team today at GDUK and managed to grill on whats coming up. Here's what I got. (Source: Warwick Kinrade )

- New kreig Infantry variants. No news on their general theme (as the others were at ease, charging etc.)

- Many new conversion kits for the plastic baneblade. once again, I dont know what super heavies are being worked on, but I did see the shadowsword.

- Reaver titan was, apparently a WIP courtesy of Will Hayes. Apparently, they will make an Imperator/warlord by next year.

- Admech WILL feature, in some form in IA5 Part 2. It wont be a full codex but allies for the guard and marines. Apparently though, they will work on a full codex with GW in the near future.

- Finally, There will be A lord of change in progress by next year, by daniel cockersell.

 

And by the way, here's some Krieg Engineers and a Preacher of Nurgle, courtesy of Warseer's El-Diablo: 

Mark Bedford will be working on 'Chaosing' the Reaver also. As well as working on Brass Scorpion for the next IA book.

My guess would be that they figure fantasy stuff is too easy to find...  It's "generic" now. Freaky gothic sci-fi stuff is a lot more interesting as it's a distinctive niche that GW is pretty big in.

(And they like sculpting skulls.)

The Nurgle preacher is cool, but substandard sculpting for Forgeworld work. See how they've filled in the space between the hoses and the right side of his body? It looks like they originally sculpted seperate hoses and then decided that the body should be a single piece. I wonder why?

Do the death Korps have shotguns in the Pic's? They kind of look like a cut down version of there current Las-guns?

Though I have to say I'm a bit worried about getting Skitarii, Praetorians, Kataphraktoi, and Imperial Knights with all the charming ineffectiveness of Sanctioned Psykers or Pariahs.

Probably casting issues.  Thin stuff like hose would be very fiddly.  A bit of green stuff between hose and body, and when you cast, you get a thin sheet of resin there, that can easily be carved away.

Well... it seems when i start my Titan Legion will be looking to drop over 5 grand.....

hahaha, I plan on owning 3 Warhounds, 2 Reavers, and a Warlord. I think i will have an easy time painting them. Its my guard List i i think will never get done less i get some help.... I have 630 Cadians to paint before hitting the10 Lemans Russes, Baneblade, 5 Chimeras,  5 Hellhounds,  and 9 Basilisks...


Right now i am working on my Templars Household and Fighting Company.
