Deamonhunters mystics and Swooping hawk grenades. Who wins? Here's the background with out quotes as I don't have a Eldar Codex to reference. So when swooping hawks DS they drop a template bomb. Mystics allow shots at deep striking units. If the Swooping hawk greneades kill the mystics, then do they still get to shoot the hawks? Cam up in my 'Ard tournament. The judge went for a quick ruling and ruled on the side of init score. Hawks easily beating the mystics. I didn't mind this on the spot call, but would like to here some arguements for or against. Because I think each judge would give diffrent answers.

I see no reason that both things shouldn't happen simultaneously.

I agree with insaniak.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

id vote for simo as well since the mystics power is supposed to let you shoot a DS/summoned unit before they can even do anything like move or shoot back since you know where they are going to be.

Sure, but Hawks don't fire the gren pack. You just place the marker "any time a Swooping Hawk unit uses its Deep Strike ability". Insaniak has it right. In fact, how are the mystic rules phrased? Depending on exactly when they get to shoot, it is conceivable that the gren pack would happen earlier. Can anyone give a quote?
