Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

A few mean things I came up with... 1) Tzeentch bikers turboboost [2+ invulnerable save], teleport 20 or 30 terminators with icons of Tzeentch and 1 or 2 Sorcerors with the Lash of Submission right near the enemy. Needs at least 2000 points, 2500 is better. 2) A few noisemarine squads in rhinos with doomsirens, two sorcerors or daemon princes with the Lash of Submission. First turn leap forward, use Lash of Submission twice on the same enemy unit to get it REALLY close and in a nice ideal formation for flamer templates. Nuke it twice with your doomsirens and annihilate what's left with daemon princes assaulting it. Basically completely eliminate a unit a turn using this and later in the game you can split them up to go after stragglers. I think this might be viable in 1500 with up to 3 or 4 squads of noisemarines and maybe even a Defiler to work on units you haven't "gotten to" yet. In both armies, small units of daemons can be used to drop down and assault the enemy, hopefully just lasting through their turn to buy you a little bit of time. Anyone else? -Spellbound

Very good tactics,
just doesn't sound very fun, the turbo-boost thing, that at least has risk and reward - I really like that idea, teleporting people down with lash of submission is always going to be a good tactic.
I'm not a fan of mixed mark armies, maybe one unit here and there, but basing your whole army around power gaming seems a little odd and in tornies would drop your score anyway.
another tactic that has been thrown around is
3) 3 Landraiders with terminators with mark of tzeentch and 2 DP's with mark of slaanesh and fill the rest with troops. Termies are cheap and 3 landraiders (which are cheaper now) provide a lot of tank busting, the termies are their to much up things.

This army was used against me this week and was surprisingly effective (though I did manage to pull a win). This is a 2500 point list.
2 lash princes
3 squads of 5 chosen w 5 meltaguns icon of Chaos Glory 6 squads of 5 chaos marines w/ 1 meltagun and icon of Chaos Glory 6 squads of 10 lesser demons 3 squads of 3 bikes with 2 melta guns and icon of Chaos Glory
He had 12 units that could summon the demons and when they started to drop and can still move and assault they were awesome.
He moved everything forward and then lashed some units close (until I killed both princes on the second turn) and when the demon bombs fell I lost all of my Dire Avengers and rangers.

WOW @ all those demons! Holy hell, though I suppose that in greater numbers lesser demons do probably become better than 1-2 squads of them. Also surprising the number of meltaguns.

The melta guns do two things as everything is dashing forward, they shakelock skimmers and kill tyranid MC's the demons do the rest. I just started assaulting marines and shooting all my AP weaponry at the bikes, I had to flip my harlies out of combat every turn the last 3 turns and had high rolls and crossed terrain to prevent counter charge. And once they were disengaged my fire prisms started to take a huge toll. But it was close, a minor victory as all I really had left was 1 wound on my Avatar, eldrad, and my vehicles and 2 harlies in one squad and 5 in the other (still scoring).

How did he get 5 meltaguns in the chosen? Aspiring champion with combi-melta? They're only allowed 4 otherwise. Daemons can't move the turn they arrive. They can assault the turn they land, but otherwise follow all the deepstrike rules - and that means they count as moving once they arrive on-field. -Spellbound

I think it is all in how it is written under options in the list. 1 model may take: meltagun, up to 4 models may take: meltagun.
That is 5 meltaguns and it seems to follow RAW and RAI thus being legal.

Looking at it again, yup it looks fine to me. There's also no caveat about champions not carrying special weapons anymore [and there's less of an issue, with no access to master-crafting], so I guess a champion could carry it, too. -Spellbound

A nice, reactive force at the 1750 pt level is the following:
2 lash DPs 3 las/plas Chosen squads (infiltrating) 2 Berzerker Rhino squads 2 Obliterators 2 Havoc squads.

Well against Nidzilla you would probably want AV14 and the ability to take down TMCs (plasma). Against Mech Tau you would want Lash. Against Mech Eldar you would want anti-Harlequin (lesser daemons?). Against Marine SAFH you would want to be in CC or have buttloads of AP3/power weapons.
So this means Lash DPs with Land Raiders. Land Raiders should contain a Plague Marine squads with dual plasma. You can then have Terminators with combi-plasma and lesser daemons DSing in. You can buy Rhinos for the PM squads to block LOS to the Land Raiders or alternatively put the Termies in the Land Raiders.

I'm thinking about going template happy - obliterators for plasma cannon goodness, defilers, and double lash of submission, with maybe a couple dreadnoughts and some noisemarines for the troops.
Should be alright against anti-tank as well, since the oblits can switch to lascannons, defilers aren't terrible at it and the blastmasters are as good as missle launchers.
