Nothing really new until you get down into the 'Tools & Supplies'. I'm sure most of the WHFB players will be pleased to see the modular movement trays (rumored for November). ++WARHAMMER 40,000++ GAW 99-35 Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Razorback Squad $45.00 GAW 99-36 Warhammer 40K: Chaos Space Marines Chaos Space Marines & Rhino $45.00 GAW 99-38 Warhammer 40K: TA Devilfish & Fire Warriors $45.00 GAW 99-39 Warhammer 40K: Imperial Guard Armoured Fist $45.00 GAW 99-41 Warhammer 40K: Eldar Wave Serpent & Dire Avengers $45.00 GAW 43-31 Warhammer 40K: Chaos Space Marines Vindicator $40.00 GAW 46-05 Warhammer 40K: Eldar Eldar Army $175.00 GAW 46-13 Warhammer 40K: Eldar Shinning Spears $45.00 GAW 46-30 Warhammer 40K: Eldar Autarch on Jetbike $25.00 GAW 48-25-N Warhammer 40K: Space Marines Vindicator $40.00 ++WARHAMMER FANTASY++ GAW 87-01-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE High Elves Army Book $22.00 GAW 87-07-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Chariot $25.00 GAW 87-10 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Prince & Noble $22.00 GAW 87-11-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Lord on Dragon $45.00 GAW 87-14 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Phoenix Guard Command $22.00 GAW 87-15-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Phoenix Guard $20.00 GAW 87-19-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Swordmasters of Hoeth $20.00 GAW 87-20 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Swordmasters of Hoeth Command $22.00 GAW 87-21 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Archmage & Mage $22.00 GAW 87-22 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE White Lions of Chrace $20.00 GAW 87-23 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE White Lions of Chrace Command $22.00 GAW 87-24 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Shadow Warriors $20.00 GAW 87-25 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Reinforcement Battalion $90.00 GAW 87-36-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Alith Anar Shadow King $15.00 GAW 87-49 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Phoenix Guard Hero Caradryan $15.00 GAW 87-50 Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Korhill $15.00 GAW 87-51-N Warhammer Fantasy Battle: HE Shadow Walker $8.00 ++TOOLS & SUPPLIES++ GAW 65-10 Figure Case Tag $0.00 GAW 65-18 Blue Custom Army Figure Case $90.00 GAW 65-19 Grey Custom Figure Case $90.00 GAW 65-21 Supplies and Tools Modular Movement Tray $10.00 GAW 66-12 Supplies and Tools Citadel Tool Set $120.00 GAW 66-33-N Hobby Starter Set The price for the Tool Set is most definitely a typo or the price a set number of units.

That's cool, is there an Eldar Mechanized kit with a Wave Serpent and Dire Avengers, much akin to the Armored Fist for Guard?

Anyone have any idea what the modular movement trays are? like is it just a sheet of plastic with edges you can trim to the size you want? or are they just doing a bunch of different sizes like GF9?

Any chance that the Shnining spears are already the remodeled ones based on the jetbike prototype jes showed on the GD? I would love to have those on my shelf and Alliance games has the prices always a good bit ahead of time (3-6 month normally?).
One can hope.
Like the Dire Avenger/Wave Serpent combo, maybe I will get one of those.

The Dire Avenger/Wave Serpent squad is only 5 Avengers though... not particularly useful by itself... Unless, I suppose, you bought 2 sets, plus an additional DA box.
Hmmm...
Eldar WS/DA box x 2 = $90 DA box = $30 Total: $120
or DA Box x2 = $60 Wave Serpent x 2 = $80 Total: $140
So, You're still saving $20... of course, prices may vary depending on your favorite retailers discount.
On reflection, with this box being released, there's really no reason to ever buy the regular Wave serpent box, since for $5 more, you get 5 Avengers, and you can never have too many avengers!
Are these going to be permanent boxes, or limited releases?

If it's like last year it's a Christmas-only item (as are all the vehicle w/ squad sets).

Posted By Schepp himself on 09/28/2007 2:22 AM Any chance that the Shnining spears are already the remodeled ones based on the jetbike prototype jes showed on the GD? None at all. My interest is piqued by the modular movement tray. And actually, I wouldn't be surprised at a $120 price for a tool set, depending on what was in it. GW already has an obscene markup on their tools, if they bundled them all together in a nice box, well, what a perfect gift for the hobbyist on your list, ma'm.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

http://www.ifelix.co.uk/gamesday2007/page17/files/page17-1004-full.htmlPic of the new tool set. It comes packed in a full sized figure case so it could conceivably cost $120.

That is a nice set of tools, particularly the razor saw. I usualy use the blade of mine on its own, but that seems to be a beefy handle. A gripe though, no jeweler's saw? Razor saws are great, but i would not use one to cut pewter.
