This should probably be in Army Lists but really, just try and cram in as many melta guns as you can to compensate for the lack of las cannons you can get now and take the free drop pods on a couple of vet squads.

BA armies should do well at higher pt levels as DC Marines and power fists are costly. Mech BA armies should still do well, but more geared towards shooting and reactive playing style, with Assault Marines held back for counter-strike.

My mate's been using Memphiston, jump chaplain, 10 death company backed up by triple preds and min assault squads in rhinos to good success. Oh and three attack bikes in 1500pts. Its very small and is near reliant on the death company and memphiston....

I've been playing around with all jumppackers, but you end up with a very small army that way. Currently I'm going with 2 squads of 5 Assualters w/fist, 3 squads of 8 Vets w/2 fists and 2 meltas or flamers, 2 MM attack bikes, and Lemartes leading 6 DC w/packs.

The most obvious list out of the new Codex is one that packs in as many Vet Assault squads and Honor Guard squads as possible. These squads are head and shoulders better than anything else in the Codex, so loading up on them is an obvious way to powergame the list.
No matter how you slice it, though, this is not the list it used to be. It used to be nearly unbeatable. Now it's a below average.
Some folks have proposed some Pod lists, using Vet Assault squads with Combi-weapons and Plasma Guns. I'd have to defer to the Drop Pod list experts on that.
I've retired my Blood Angels. The new Codex makes me want to quit 40K every time I look at it.
