I am thinking of painting my Nurgle Marines with rusted armor, the whole armor..not just the edges..
Is there any pictures of examples of this?? Or anyone has any suggestion of colors to use..??

Hmm, might consider roughening up the surfaces of the most rusted areas with some fine sand/vallejo sandy paste. I think they could get a little difficult to discern if you do a really good rusting, job, though. Might be better to choose a little off-setting armor to show though?

What about a product like Rust-All?  It's a paint that you put on and then apply an oxidizer to it to get real rust.   There are several product lines that can do that.  Some that do ferrous rust, others that can do a bronze patina, etc...

Anyone try that on small-scale stuff?

depending on the look you're going for, you can replicate a lot of rust effects with paint. I've been using it for ferrous rust, but you could adapt it for any color scheme. I explain it fully in my Ork thread in WIP, but it's lifted from a couple of GW sources.

I've been using Mig pigments over a metallic base color for rust lately, with a mixture of the light and standard rusts, plus a touch of black.

I hate making signatures:
Mainly because my sense of humor is as bad as my skill at this game.

Anyone thought to do up a quick "How-To" tutorial on their method for rust?

I know I'd be interested to see it as well.

Maybe something to ask Migs for when I update the painting FAQ for the new Dakka?

Fast and messy.

I'd start with Dark Flesh, then stipple on vermin brown and hit a few spots with orange.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

One of the browns... I think it is bubonic brown, watered down to the point of almost being an ink makes an excellent rust effect around bolts and such on tanks, probably work pretty well on the edges of space marine armor too, but I've never tried that

Bubonic is pretty yellow. I think you mean vermin brown?

Yeah that guy does some awesome stuff. I emailed him a few times for techniques. He uses those Mig pigments a lot. They may be hard to find in the US but can be ordered. Tamiya makes some powdered pigments too that any decent hobby shop should have or could get if you ask em, but they're packaged kinda like a make-up kit. I bought some but have yet to use em. Gonna try on the baneblade, I wanna make mine look like it's seen a whole lot of action over the centuries

Read the whole first page of the blog, have to say, I'm rather impressed by him.  I'll definitely be fav'ing that.
