This model was quite a fun experiment. I had a few goals:

• not my normal style
  
• no metallics
  
• a bit dirty
  
• limited palette as inspired by this image:
  

Below is what I came up with. Honestly, the pics are cleaning it up a bit. It's gritter looking in RL, for better or worse.

That's very cool.

I love the limited pallette, although it looks like the armour could use a slightly stronger highlight. It may just be the pic, but it looks a little flat.

And I think if the wiggle on the blade and the bionic eye lense were a nice fiery yellow/white (which fits with the torches in your pallette pic) it would help him 'pop' a little more.

You put the "Nurgle" into Dark Nurgles. Never expecting a loyalist fitting so well to chaos only by a good paintjob.

Looks fantastic. Big props for how well you did that three-skull free-hand. It's beautiful.

The only weakpoint seems to be the under-shaded robes. Could use some more stark contrasts, but other than that really nice.

like it scarab. personally would have done the sword a massive-exaggerated-contrast-that-is-so-sphynx-his-entire-high-elf-army-has-a-glowing-magic-energy-compound-instead-of-any-type-of-metal-and-he's-never-painted-a-40k-model-with-metallic-paint-in-his-life-kind of thing.
