its pretty easy, lords block LOS from the avatar for a turn or 2, the farseer allows a lord to re-roll shooting and saves, or re-roll saves on my avatar. i had the scorpions infiltrating, but I dropped a vyper and the points to infiltrate and had enough left over to add the wave serpent. good idea? I think adding a little more armor protection will be better than the starcannon vyper i was using.

now the reason I'm going with this army is i am using every model i own but 5 dark reapers, and a vyper. a "walking" style army has done very well for me in the past few months, and a variant gave me 1st place at the 1st round on the 22nd. i just was thinking if anyone can give me ideas on how to tweak the guys i have here to make them more effective, that would be awsome.

In my happy place, I'm in my happy place...

Did you add this up right? I am coming out about 40 points over. If I am mistaken then I like the list as I have alsways said foot Eldar is competative. Your greatest threat will be Mechdar. Nidzilla could be problem but not too bad. I prefer fire dragons in the falcon to the scorps as you can hit very hard when you need it regardless of opponent (barring thier waveserp crashing).

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

not bad.

...you really need a seer in the harlequin unit however.  You wont be able to assault into cover without him, he's the one that carries the grenades.  Lose the banshee exarch to get him if that will be enough points.  All you get are extra attacks for the points you spend and not nearly enough of them to justify the cost, and acrobatics is stupid now, especially if you're mounted.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

Yes it is a few points over, i didnt have my list with me. 6 spiders and no shruiken cannons on the serpents will do it. I would like to play dragons, but i dont have enough money\time to buy\paint them. oh well.

also the shadowseer is very important, this i understand. they have been out at my LGS for about 2 months now, so i havnt had the chance to pick one up.

Thanks guys!

Dude, three squads of Bladestorming DAs and no Doom? Do yourself a favour and get it.

I would rather have more Guardians than Warlocks. A Concealock only just pays for itself in terms of survivability , and with foot-slogging DAs, I would not consider the Guardians a priority target anyway.

Starcannons suck in the current 'dex. Get either EMLs to help with tank-busting, or scatter lasers to save points. They're 2/3 as good as a star cannon against a MEq that's out of cover, just as good against a MEq in 5+ cover, and better against a MEq in 4+ or better. You'll also be glad to have them when Orks hit (though granted, you've already got plenty of anti-hoard in the DAs).

As mentioned, Banshee Exarchs are pointless. Maybe if you were trying to fit maximum lethality into a Falcon-borne squad it would make sense, but 10 in a Serpent is quite enough.

If you're going to buy an extra shuricannon, put it on a vehicle that won't die (i.e. the Falcon, not the Serpent).

Again, Falcon star cannon is unnecessary. Scatter laser or even shuricannon would be more efficient.

I've always found VE to be indispensible on all transports. It's tempting not to use them, since they do literally nothing a lot of the time, but the consequences of not having them when you need them is catastrophic enough that I would suggest spending those points.

If you dropped some of the fat, you could get (warning: cookie-cutter suggestion approaching) Eldrad instead of that Farseer. In a list like this, it would be well worth it, IMO.

One last note: I wouldn't suggest screening the Avatar with WLs for more than a single turn. Once you have Fortune on him, he's much more durable than a Wraithlord due to his at worst 1/4 chance of failing a save against anything.
