As the Accursed battles the Winged horrors his left engine of his Jump Pack is hit causing him to lose control and crash into a spire of ice, he falls and is consumed in fire from the Jet pack.

I activate the inbuilt anti fire system of my armour making it fireproof then i walk out of the inferno with the cannon blasting and trying to take some down with the agonizer

Marius takes the blows but seems to ignore them as well (blood feel no pain on the grotesques would be ignored by the frost weapon) He begins to dismember them systematically, arms and legs falling as they are swung at Marius, Finally he begins taking heads

The Grotesques fall after bloody fighting with the group killing many Guardsmen and Eldar Guardians in the process , they begin to advance on the final area of the temple a large arched control station surrounded by a acidic lake and bloody corpses. Daemons of Tzeentch and Khorne finish off any remaining Dark Eldar Wracks or Warriors that remain. Two Daemons grab Marius and Mikal and proceed to knock them unconscious while the Decapitated Syrath takes back his head and has his minions kill any of the Guardsmen and Eldar that remain except for the Farseer.

The Scourges appear to have fled in search of new prey leaving the Accursed on his own.

Marius and Mikal are dragged towards the Command Station by two large Khornate Daemons and are dropped in chains in front of Syrath who holds the key.

"It seems I have more that one prize , the Dark Eldar made a brilliant distraction and you played the role of bait perfectly. You destroyed my titan and forced me from my rand home but I know have the ability to create a thousand of these Craft."

I look if i can repair my jump pack and then i return to friendly lines

Marius has finally had enough, his remaining organic cells mutate into the Wulfen and he rips free of the chains and smashes the daemons aside, "MIKAL RUN"

The Jump pack is beyond repair and is still leaking fuel.

Marius tares into the Daemonic enemy and rips them apart with the full fury of Russ , using their own claws and talons against each other , he is soon joined by the Farseer who uses Psychic blasts and beams against the Daemons.

"Get the key! Cast it into the fire!"

I try if i can catch the oil into some pots so i can make "grenades" of them

Ok then i grab the splinter cannon sling it on my back and go to frindly lines

Mairus shoulders syrath out of the way and picks up the key, flicking it towards the fire, he turns to the daemon "You just dont die do you? he smashes his fist into Syraths mouth, then withdraws it and crouches down covering mikal the krak grenade he left in the daemons mouth explodes

Syrath makes a screeching noise as the key hits the lava and becomes a mound of purple fire and flames , all that is left is bones and dust as the Daemons power source is destroyed. The Farseer crouches down and retrieves a small Crystal from the remains of Syraths chest and revels a large Soul stone.

"You have stolen many Souls daemon , let them be free."

The Bones of Syrath try to rise lifting a hand to stop the Farseer but begin to turn to dust

"No...No...I cannot be destroyed... I will become...a God!"

The Accursed returns to the Tau and Imperial lines , they appear to have driven of most of the Dark Eldar Warriors and troops and are clearing the rest away.

Marius picks himself up, the mental struggle with his own body finally won. His armour slightly ragged around the edges where his face and hands had become more than Marine.

"This is gonna need fixing" Marius pokes the hole in his chest from the daemons claws, examining it for the first time

Mikal has little time to react as everything happens so very fast. He is, however, able to overpower the khornate guard next to him as he is distracted by Marius' transformation. Mikal takes the axe that the chaos warrior had taken from him and snarls loudly as Marius fights with Syrath.

The chaos guards, taken off guard, are struck down by Mikal's fury and the axe that he wields, Mikal retrieves his weapons as the key is thrown into the fire and turns in time to see the daemon disintegrating in front of his eyes. Mikal cant help but smile and then he spits on the dust pile that is the daemon.

"Such is the fate of all warp spawn." He says. And then looks to Marius, who is just noticing his wounds. Mikal goes to him and tries to support the marine to stay on his feet as much as he can. Mikal turns to the farseer.

"Is it done? Can we raze this place and leave? We are alone now, all my men are dead and all your warriors are the same, we can't stay here much longer if we are to survive and tell the fleet of our victory."

The Farseer begins activating the control panel and opens a massive portal in the space above the ice world.

The Accursed arrives at the Imperial and Tau encampment , they are setting up communication towers and control centers and pay little attention to the Accursed. A Tau Shas'Ui and a Imperial Sergent stand next to each other and are talking.
