A month? SW initiation has gotta be longer than that. Don't know an exact date, but I'd say it'd be at least a year before Mikal's ready to start rippin into stuff with a chainsword

nah actually tis really fast to turn you into a space wolf, TRAINING takes alot longer, Marius can help with that... but yes your right, it would be better to have you fully fleged when the bombs start falling.....

What if during the first Chapters of the RPG Mikal is still becoming a Space Wolf but you would stilll have to fight the Thousand Sons and their Allies. This RPG will also be split into Chapters that make up the story. Once I've written the Rules down and written the Background I'll post a Recruitment thread.

What about less training due to his combat record alongside marines? Would that be possible.

no. straight up, he has to get used to the modifications on his body, also there is the trial of the wolf, which requires him to be in peak phisical condition, even for a marine, even for a space wolf. Also bolter training is quite extensive and of course marines have a different set of command signals than guardsmen, and to get used to all of that takes time.

I couldnt see him being ready in less than a month, but more close to 3

That seems fine , the invasion of Russ may take up to 6 years and the story starts a month later.

oh and BTW gifting Mikal Heimdall permanantly, Marius wont need it anymore, and if Mikal Makes Wolf Guard then he can inherit Flashfreeze

Honestly, I don't see any reason why the entrance of the Sons have to immediately follow the end of this RP.

Mikal would probably be more advanced in the training and prowess area than most original Fenrisian recruits because of the experience as a kasrkin (Which are elite among the guard in the first place, requiring peak physical condition as well as minor genetic moderation as well) So I would say Marta is pretty accurate: somewhere around 3-6 months after would be nice.

But the thing that I'm pondering is really more about Mikal's strange case. I mean, there can't be very many Wolves recruited outside of Fenris, not saying that's a problem, but you gotta wonder how that'll affect his initiation and the way others in the chapter look at him.

thats why you have Marius as mentor, otherwise you would be the object of scritiny, but with such a venerable hero mentoring you itll be fine
