Except one on one and without sufficient capability to dodge or avoid an opponents attack size does matter.

No, to have tiny golems of diffrrnr elements doing your bidding, they collect blocks and fill chests!
You can also make an automatic farm with 2 of the little critters

and what is that achieving? something you want. The reactor is the same. It's a means to an end.

The cores can be, but they don't make the golems elemental.

You really should get to learn the mod more before you make claims

Why would you intentionally ignore something that is such a core part of the modpack?

Well theres wood, stone, clay and straw, there different elements.

I'm on "ignoring" it because I don't like the mod, and most of those that use it seem to be obnoxious and think it's "da bestest mods eva!" while they don't understand the joys if other mods because it "doezont has quarries!" and the main reason I hate it is mainly because any mod it's paired with becomes overpowered and therefore bad, equivalent exchange 2 is a prime example. It's a very good mod and is challenging, but BOOM it's in tekkit with industrial craft and allows both mods to be completed with ease. Me and my friend hate this factor and so only ever sticked to equivalent exchange and he sticked to industrial craft. Never helped each other as it made both mods bad. And so when the fanboys wanted to find a thing to blame they blamed the smaller "magickz" mod.

Duncan and rythian of the yogscast are prime examples, both of which I am good friends with and was in the Ye Olde Gamers clan with them.
Duncan uses both mods and so is plubicly ruining the EE2 mod, look at the talk of both the yogscast and there fans, it's all "EE3 iz sooooo ovapowad" while rythian uses only one and progesses slowly.

THAT is why I dislike IC, it ruined the amazing legacy that both that mod and author had. It had a unique concept and an amazing guy behind it, now that's gone due to one of hundreds of science mods out there,
I will not let it ruin thaumcraft!

You silly little man, It was Ye Olde Goone Squad that was the clan, who then formed The Game Station and the Y.O.G.S Cast

Matapata, being isn't just, "ooh, I think I'll try that today" its a commitment, there are very good mages who never got the job so please respect the position.

That is rather true- especially since none of the Mages are actually up to full power. Magery takes a lot more time than Technology does. Imagine if you needed to discover all the recipes for machinery in-game before you were able to use them, by prototyping and destroying ingredients that would otherwise be used in the construction of said machines- that's how Thaumcraft works. And you can't, until very, very very far along in your research, do anything that'll pump more Vis into the world- you have to find Silverwoods and plant them, and Silverwood saplings are rather hard to come by- harder than Rubber-tree saplings for sure. So it's not like "I'll just pop a generator down and have infinite power forever"- you need to work up to ultimate power.



Also, infeasable doesn't mean impossible- just difficult.

What does 'full power' mean?

There's still balance between magic and science in respect to time though. You take an age to figure things out because you have to, but we have to (in most cases) tear up a fairly large chunk of land to be self-sufficient.

So do we, we also need other rare stuff for different aspects. With items ranging from nether wart to moss cobblestone, it's very hard to get what's needed in thaumcraft

Industrial craft needs more rare stuff but it takes longer to research stuff in Thaum.

Then again, maybe I could do magic, but only if I can be an Emotion Lord (The Bravest Warriors kind, nothing less).

What does that have to do with this, or was that an excuse for a joke?
