Hi Jim and Family
Your story isn't a new one sadly,
More and more people are gaming at home and stores are closing or down sizing our store moved to a smaller place due to lack of players taking advantage of gaming tables.
Back in the 70's gaming and scenery building walked closer together, the 90's brought forth a big increase in stores that provided gaming space but its reverting back now. the price of gas online shopping and other things are bringing gaming back to the inter basement state it once was.
Start looking for yahoo groups to join so you can stay active, your hobby needs your participation during these times. New England area has been hit the hardest so my distributers tell me so it maybe just a passing trend for NE or the future of table top gaming as a whole to early to tell I just hope more store's don't close cause everyone(stores) are "just" getting by and its not worth during year after year like the past two which maybe why so many have closed .
If your a gamer you have to be willing to do a bit more travelling now than before but the result is a greater bunch of people to game with our FOW group is one of the tightest fun groups to play with around every time we game its a blast and surely makes up for the weeks between games.
Hope this helped some also what was the name of the stare that closed?
