I got me some death korps tank commanders for my grenadier's chimeras, but one of em has a bent stubber.. the barrel of the gun is bent pretty bad. Is there any way possible to bend it back straight, or would I have better luck just replacing the barrel with plastic rod that's about the same size? I'm kinda afraid if I try to bend it back it will snap or if it doesn't snap i just won't be able to get it to look as straight as it should be...

Soak it in very warm water for a few mins.

then gently, gently, bend it back to shape.

If there is very little give to the resin after soaking it, use warmer water.

I dipped a baldy warped blade of an Eldar Avatar into a cup of hot water, for about a second. It had straightened on it's own, almost instantly.

Careful with temperature, you may not need much time at all.
