Well, this is the list I'm thinking I'm going to bring... the only other thoughts is to replace the stormboyz with battlewagons with killcannons and some deff koptas with kustom mega blastas. What do you guys think?

Looks tough as nails. I do fail to see why noone is using KFFs though.

I'm looking at using the KFF's, but they're expensive and only on Big Meks. Plus you can't combine the KFF with a bike, mega-armor, or the shokk attack gun.

Because of the amount of Boyz you're going to be taking you'll want two Big Meks which at a minimum ends up being more than the Boss on Bike, without even making them a half decent counter charge unit.

Still, each Big Mek with KFF giving say 2 mobs of 20 Orks a 5+ cover save that's always on is pretty damn good. I just like having the Boss on Bike personally to deal with Monoliths or other troublesome enemy units that he should reliably get to.

I do like this list though. Lots of Storm Boyz is going to be rough on a lot of armies. I think Mech Tau can be a problem, since you're going to struggle to glance the Hammerheads, whose submunition rounds and SMS are going to hurt the Trukks and Mobs. Heck I think Mech Tau are going to be one of the toughest matchups for Orks.

I agree on mech tau, which is a shame... I thought that orks were going to be the rock to tau's scissors, especially with the introduction of the grabba claw.... the fact that it can only be included on battle wagons is lame, especially since all the new trukks have one modeled on them

The problelm of Tau Skimmers can be solved with the application of Lootas to an army list.

Unlike Eldar Skimmers, once you start glancing Hammerheads, bad things happen most of the time. Lootas can glance Hammerheads pretty reliably and at long range, especially if you roll a 3+ for your number of shots. You won't get the silly number of glances you would against a Falcon, but then you don't need that many glances either.

The main threat to the list is the fact that SMS pops trukks before they can hit because you can't hide them. For this reason, I seriously favor Storm Boyz as the main assault unit in any assault based Ork army going forward.

I don't think that lootas will solve anything against tau..... not when every SMS unit in the enemies army targets them.  My tau buddy must play differently than every other tau player in the game. He deploys a wall of terrain that he can hide behind and fire 6 SMS a turn while his suits jump over a hill, fire, and then jump back

the key to beating mech tau is mobility, if you just sit still, you'll never see anything to shoot at.

Lootas can deploy very far back on a board, in fact they have to in order to be used properly. You really have to get everything you can out of their 48" range.

Setup right, you should be able to force them to come out to hit the Lootas with SMS. I just don't see Tau constantly getting a board where all they can do all game is sit there and shoot SMS from behind terrain. They also have to keep moving each turn to keep from being penetrated. That means they're going to be exposed at some point.

I decided to change it from big meks to wierdboyz.... that way they can hang with the units, call waaghs, teleport, etc..

Wrecking balls may be an idea against enemy skimmers.
Very tough list.

I was thinking about the dual Warphead list, it's actually a pretty decent idea, though I would do it very differently than you.

I'd max out on at least two mobs of 30 Slugga Boyz, 3 Rokkits, and PK Nobz. The idea is to put the Warpheads in there and just keep on rolling for that Waaagh power every turn. Zogwort is good, especially if you see Eldrad or a Lash Sorcerer around, now THAT is fun, but it may be more cost efficient to just run two Warpheads.

The only thing I don't like is that your lists are all CC. Vs. Skimmer Lists, that's going to be rough. Would be even rougher against Zillas or almost anything else really.

They're not all CC, there's the 54 shootas and 12 rokkit launchas, as well as the wyrd boyz. , and the WAAAAGH power effects the entire army, not just the squard the warphead is in.

Angron:

That's twice I've removed the points values from your army lists in this thread. One more time and the thread will be deleted.

Try adding some more battlewagonz. They're the best unit in the game, so stock up on 'em. Get eight in this list if you can. Just use the same load out on them, too. Make every unit exactly the same if you can, it's just easier. And you win more.
