They don't give you a base. I've put mine on a 60mm base, but I've seen photos around the internet of them on bigger, custom bases as well.

I am planning to use the same diameter as the large blast template. Though I will probably will use an old obsolete backup DVD as the actual base. The bigger the base the bigger the entry point for whatever crawls out of the hole next turn, so you dont want it too small.

I've got in on a mdf wooden coaster that is about 10cm diameter.

Actually, one of the best bases you can use for it is the new Oval base from the LOTR Dragon model. It is absolutely perfect for the Trygon and has the same edges as other GW bases. I highly recommend it if you can get one!
