Let's pop the cork on this board here. What are you looking for in the upcoming Warmachine: Legends book? 'Casters that go beyond Epic? New 'jack rules? Something more?

I play Cryx mostly, and what I'd like is some mid-level infantry. Right now it seems like we mostly have the throw away grunts (McThralls) and uber expensive fiends (Bane Knights, Pirates). I'd like something in between. They don't have to be uber-tricksy, they just have to have a solid battlefield role.

If you read Wilson's "Q&A" in the latest No Quarter (it's really just
a press release completed in the form of NQ asking questions), you
see him mention a few things such as Legendary Warcasters (without
telling you what they are), character warjacks, allies (we've seen
these), Warcaster familiar types or something like that, unit cohorts, etc.

I just want fancy art and new models.

During my research, I discovered the article yet again.

1. Warcaster attachments. I mistakenly called them familiars in my earlier
posts.

2. A suggested evolution for non-warcaster solos. He dropped a big hint that
I think points to Eiryss.

3. Cohorts. Models that affect all other models of a certain type. He compares
it to the elite cadre rules.

I like that idea of cohorts because some units have just been outdated such as the boomhowler and co or gun mages or or cryx's sat raiders. People simply don't take them anymore. If you could release a unit to bump up stats and increase without drastically affecting gameplay balance, it would be nice.

Satyxis Raiders already got a bump from E-Skarre and the Sea Witch.

Melee dwarves. Looks like I am getting what I want.

Sorscha supposedly has a heavily modified Juggernaut that a) I hope is one of the Khador character jacks and b) Epic Sorscha had better be able to bond with! (Her jack bond rules say 'non-character warjack')

Also, Zerkova. I've been wanting a Greylord Ternion-like warcaster since Escalation.

The previewed melee Rhulic infantry might be exactly what my mercs needed, although I won't be able to field them and Croe's or Boomhowler at the same time.

And as a complete shot in the dark, I hope the High Shields get a UA or WA. Something to make them more potent offensively.

I'd like to see a Unit Attachment or a Weapon Attachment for either the Devil Dogs or the Nyss hunters or both.

I've got my fingers crossed that the upgraded mercenary from Prime is Boomhowler. I can't see it being Eiryss as she's just had a new model. It would be nice to see the Rhulic and Magnus contracts get some more love. There's talk of another Mercenary contract too, I'm hoping it'll be Thamarites.

When is Legends coming out anyway? I guess I don't know where to go to find all this stuff out. Guess it kind of hurts that I can't read the PP forums from work.

The Solos actually evolving? I'm not sure if that's what I got out of the article. I understood that to be a hint about the storyline- like Eiryss is going to start playing a bigger part in the plot.

Also, it has been debated as to who the person is. It points to either Eiryss or Alexia Ciannorl, so it could signify either.

It also seems like they're fleshing out their Mercenaries a little more too. Like, there is going to be synergy among the non-pirate mercs!

Did anyone get a chance to read the new No Quarter? Was there any legends spoilers in there?

Which one? NQ#18? That one comes out in 2 weeks and will have a bunch of stuff in it. Dragoons for all 4 factions, Steelhead Cavalry, a Steelhead Cavalry solo, a Rhulic Mechanik, and more Rhulic infantry.
