I have painted three nurgle armies so far, the first one did not turn out the best. The thing that made the biggest difference was adding Yellow and an almond or flesh tone to the mix for a more jonhndis(sp) look. Then using a brown ink or brown paint wash over parts helps as well to give it that rotten mold liquid look. Otherwise those are soem great colors. Though I would stay away from red and green combos as they are oposites on the color spectrum and together seriously feth with the eye and our ability to process them side by side. Though, if you are looking to save money I recommend going to a craft store and getting ceramics paints. the bottles come with three times as much paint, less than half the price and coat a lot better on average than GW paints. Though I buy the GW metalics as they tend to be better than craft paints. And if you do not have brushes get some at that craft shop as you will get more brushes for less at the same quality as GW. Anywho, go forth and make pretty things!

Go with boltgun and skip the mithril silver (it's too bright for Nurgle IMO)

I would suggest both if you can spare the cabbage, but if you can not go ahead and do the mitheral because it is easier to darken a metalic than it is to lighten it.
