What it says, if I read a topic and then return to the forum page, the bullet does not change to show it has been read, it has to be manually refreshed. Assuming this is part of the same glitch as the 'mark topic as read' one?

Are you using the back function on your browser or clicking "Forum Index"?

My issue with the "forum read" bullet is the one grey death mentions. One thing I
think I found with firefox is that it will mark the forum as read if I read the most
recent post, not just if I read all of them. However, if I just read the second most
recent post, then it will not mark it as a read forum.

I think. Might be that someone just automatically posted something after I jumped
to another thread.

There are indeed a couple of small bugs with the read/unread stuff which should be ironed out in the next big release, so try not to let it bother you until then
