I have almost finished 6 sentinels for my Nurglesque Traitorguard and I am about to being working on the troops. I have a question to pose and get opinions about. Should I mix up a ton of different boxed sets to make a real rag-tag/hodge-podge force of mutie/zombie traitors that are from a plethora of worlds?? or..... should I just make them all uniform like the renegade militia from forgeworld or a cadian-flagellent combo???

If I did a real rag-tag force, I have these boxes to work with:

Cadians
Catachans
Empire Miltia
Empire Flagellents
Chaos Warriors (new and old)
Skaven plaguemonks
Skaven clanrats
Forgeworld Renegade Militia
Ogre Kingdoms Ogres
Ogre Kingdom gnoblars
Fantasy Goblins
All sorts of chaos marine bits
Zombies
Skeletons
Wood Elf Dryad boxed sets
Some fantasy Orc Chariots and odds and ends
Gorka Morka stuff
Mordheim stuff

thats about it. What is everyones opinions on what kinda troops I should model up?

I think you should have a general concept in mind and combine 2 or three different kits to achieve it for basic troop types. Remember for projects like this the Warstore (Battlewagon Bits) is your friend.

Do two or three proto-types and see what type of feedback you get, which ones do you enjoy painting the most, etc. to determine which way to design your army.

The other possibility is to look at other miniature ranges. There are some old warzone minis that would make very good nurgle traitor guard in my opinion.

I think you could combine either of these two sets of heads with almost any of those sets to get good nurgle traitors:

Agreed. Kolony Rebels and militia would make great traitor guard. Likewise, the VOID Viridian plastics from the 1.1 boxed set would make good ones too.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
