Basic army-style paint job, I'll do something more fancy for the more fancy things.

Looks good. I like the colour scheme.

Very clean paintjob, like the colour scheme also, nice shading.

Do you intend to add squad markings? In my experience, a few markings here and there make the models feel so much more alive.

Even the best painted and shaded things sometime seem lifeless because they´re missing that bit of extra.

Wonderfully painted mini. The color scheme is great. You can't really beat the blue and grey look.

Thanks guys! Xanthos, yes he will have markings eventually, I'll probably leave it until I have a few guys done and I need to buy some solution to dissolve the carrier film (someone has reccomended solvaset, so I'll have to do some hunting for this product soon).

My only nit is the blue glove, which just seems odd to me. (person choice i guess)

Other than that I like it a lot.

How much have you highlighted/shaded it and how much is the lighting? Especially on the cloth.

It's very well blended.

Thanks. The transitions on the gun arm aren't as good as the rest but overall I was happy with the effect considering the technique (ie no wet blending, which I haven't tried for years). I'll try to dig out a bigger pic.

Very solid look for him. The pic could probably be a little lighter, but this is looking rather nice.
