In working on my never-ending Valhallan project, I was thinking about adding a Centaur. How would this work as an alternative?

1/48 Tamiya bren carrier

For reference, here's the Forgeworld Centaur:

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think if you built up the front a bit more with some plasticard it could work out nicely.

Have you considered kitbashing the Bren Carrier with a Leman Russ kit?

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

The 1/48 Bren is TINY. You couldn't fit any more than 2 Guardsmen in it.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Oh, SNAP! Hrmn, may have to go for the 1/35 then. Or the new French Armored Carrier from Tamiya

Iorek: yeah, that certainly would be the look of the Centaur, wouldn't it? The problem is that I'm not a fan of the Russ, at least track-wise, which is the most prominently russ-like aspect of the model. However, other things, like the glacis plate, secondary weapons housing, engine exhausts etc. I'd probably steal whole-hog, to better 40k it up.
