Subject: I can login to Dakka, but can't post in many forums
I can login to DakkaDakka (obviously or I couldn't post this), and I can navigate around the site fine...
However, when I go to a forum like "News and Rumors" or "Modeling" I'm logged out and cannot post.
This is only true for the old forums that have been around for a while. If I go into one of the new forums I remain logged on and can post fine (as you can see).
The weirdness includes:
* Being logged out when I go to classic Dakka forums
* If I go from "News and Rumors" back to the main forum menu, I'm logged back in
* Refreshing does not help
* Logging in again does not help
* Clearing cache does not help

I posted this, can see it as a new thread on the menu page, but I can't see it when I go into the "Nuts & Bolts" forum. By that, I mean it's not on the thread list at all when I enter the forum. I'm typing this reply by clicking on the thread from outside the forum (from the main menu if that makes sense).
I'm in some sort of Dakka forum time warp.

I posted a reply to my first post and used the navigation tool directly above where you make a post to step back into the "Nuts and Bolts" forum.
Doing that, I was able to see my post listed and that there is one reply. So far so good. When I clicked on the post the reply was not there, simply my original post.
I bookmarked the thread and that is the only way I have of seeing all the posts.
A couple of users have reported problems with IE6/7 that probably stem from either IE's strange security policy or your ISP's hidden proxy servers for IE. It is something we are looking into but as of yet we have been unable to replicate it.
