Minor Notes: I want this fluffy as I play amongst friends. I play against Ork, Black Templar, Cheeze Eldar, Alpha Legion Chaos (Deepstrike terminator squads), Thousand sons, and an all Transport/Heavy Dark Eldar, also coming is a Cheeze Imperial Guard (same guy with Cheeze Eldar). I am not limited by model choice. Feel free to recommend any changes, model wise that is not a problem. (EXCEPT BIKES).
I have been playing Tau for the last year so any help would be appreciated; I know I am light on armor killing lascannons, so I may have to sacrifice some bodies to fit those in.
The idea is the Tac Squad 3 pulls in front of the Vindicator as a screen, the Predator over watches both. The Assault squad and Drop Pod Dread would cover each other. One idea was to give the Vet Squad have infiltrate (No Razorback then) and have assault squad and Dread, then help them secure a table quarter. The two tac squads would support the Devastator squad, until any deep striking threats are gone, then move up if need be to secure or engage any threat near the middle of the table.

I think this list sticks to the Iron Hands Theme very well. Giving the Sergents Term Armor is especially Iron Handsy. I'm not sure if the Assault Squad is terribly fluffy since their home world doesn't allow for a lot of anti-grav stuff, but the limit to 1 FA slot is good. If model choice isn't a factor, bikes might be a better fluff choice than the assault marines.

Since you're going to be playing games against Ork, IG, and Eldar I really really really suggest you put a HF on the dropping dread. I do this all the time and it is one of my favorite tactics. He'll slay path finders, platoons, and boyz.

I'm not sure if you need to have 20 guys supportting a 6 man dev squad. I think you'd be better off just making it a 10 man dev squad. Also, if you want to have those squads sit back until deepstrike threats are gone, just drop them down to 6 man las/plas squads. This way they're not just going to waste turns guarding a dev squad. If you could mess around with your points to get 4 smaller tac squads with las cannons in them, I think you'll be better off. Since your planning to have them on guard duty, might as well give them some range fire power while you wait.

I'm not sure if the 6 man vet squad is going to have enough survivability to get to use their furious charge. I think I would give the razorback to a tac squad, drop them and add another drop pod dread. Infiltrating them's not a bad idea, but not all missions have infilitrate and it could end up being a waste of points.

Thanks for your input Life, I am modeling a Ven Dread with Hvyflamer as I write this. I am am trying to figure out about the las/plas squads yet, as I want a lot of marine bodies in this army. The Vets are my quandry as I am not sure if I would be better off with another Dread, and another 6 man squad. Thats one of my concerns and I was hoping I would get more input about the Vet squad weather it was a good idea or not.

Strictly for theme purposes, I'd think about maybe getting another Dread and giving the Iron Father bionics.
