Hi,

Was thinking of a small side project to work on, and wanted to ask the Dakka Hivemind for it's opinions. I'm thinking of assembling Eisenhorn's retinue, specifically the one from between Malleus and Hereticus. So no Cherubael (for now, since he's under E's control already, I might add him in later on) and a larger group consisting of Bequin, Aemos, Medea, Nayl and Fischig. Currently, the base models (and planned conversions) are:

Eisenhorn - GW Mordheim Elf Mage

A lot of work on this guy, mainly adding a sword/gun, modifying his cloak. Exact changes will have to be decided on once I get my hands on him.

Aemos - Corvus Belli Warcrow Marcus Aaron Hocs*EDITED*

The cross will have to go, probably replaced with a plain staff-top. Add augmentics to the back (as previously)

*Edit* Removed the Wyrd Miniatures guy because Delephont was right, he is too big!

Bequin - Freebooter Miniatures Sorceress

Remove staff, reposition arms and add gun (long-barreled laspistol) to one hand, and a walking stick to the other.

Medea - Infinity Miniatures Ariadna Para Commando 2

Replace sword and rifle with pistols (Needle pistols). May need to sculpt on some sort of jacket

Nayl - Infinity Miniatures Nomad Intruder

Carve off head and replace with a bald, screaming head of some sort, probably a Marine or Cadian Sarge's head. Gun needs reworking, doesn't look 40k enough.

Fischig - Infinity Miniatures Haqqislam Ghulam Infantry

Chop off the barrel of the gun so that it looks more like the ginormous shotgun Fischig loves to use.

And of course, general addons would be skulls and eagles to the whole lot, maybe a purity seal or two as well.

What does everyone think? I'm mainly concerned about two things:

i. Major clashes with the fluff - i.e Eh, what do you mean Nayl was a female!?
ii. Size problems - i.e. Oops, Freebooter Bequin towers over GW Eisenhorn...

Thanks in advance. When I start work I will begin a blog somewhere, hopefully this will not suffer the same fate as the defense laser...

Cheers

Wryd miniatures are big, really big! I have some and they dwarf Marines (not difficult!) so you might want to reconsider!

Arn't the Infinity minatures awesome! What makes me laugh is that the majority of your choice is from the Infinity range, don't get me wrong I think its an awesome choice, it just makes me laugh at how unflexible Citadel miniatures are when trying to apply them to their own system!

Man down, Man down....

I wish I saw that mage for esin before I dropped $200 to have one sculpted that model is a great base to work off of,and I may do one myself.
The rest need a little rethinking
Ameos is ancient tbh the servator scribe from Torquemada's retinue may be a better Ameos(his key point being a heavyly augmented eye)
For Fistig use the necromunda Arbites figure(The picture from the new Inquisition book shows him in a standard Arbites uniform)
Bequin is a hard one to do the model you picked is pretty good.
Nayl think Stone-Cold Steve Austin a jacked up bald headed man with a goatee and wears bodygloves alot maybe the scum model with dreds and bare chest from Necromunda with a head swap
Meadea's a good model there looks alot like her pic in the book, think Jada Picket Smith in the Matrix

You could also put in a young Interrogator Ravenor,Kara Swole
