AdeptiCon 2008 Announces Black Library Guest of Honor

AdeptiCon 2008 Guest of Honor Announced!
AdeptiCon is proud to announce that our Black Library Guest of Honor will be Graham McNeil, noted Games Workshop games developer and author. Graham is the author of numerous novels set Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy universes, including Fulgrim, part of the best-selling Horus Heresies series. Stay tuned for more details about Graham McNeil’s schedule during the AdeptiCon weekend.

AdeptiCon 2008 Free Swag!
Thanks to the generous support of Black Library Publishing, AdeptiCon attendees will receive a copy of The Ambassador, by Graham McNeil, or The Bloodquest Trilogy graphic novel. Warhammer Historical Brings the Past to Life
At AdeptiCon 2008, attendees will be able to bring the battles of history to life through our Warhammer Historical demos and tournaments. Recreate the battles of history in Warhammer Ancient Battles, tame the Wild West in Legends of the Old West, or battle for supremacy of the seas in Legends of the High Seas. For a unique challenge, fight for control of the streets of Prohibition-era Chicago in Legends of the Old West: The Chicago Way.

In addition to the Warhammer Historical demos that will run all weekend, two Warhammer Ancient Battles tournaments will give WAB players a chance to test their competitive mettle. The Warhammer Ancient Battles Singles Tournament on Saturday will test players and their 2000 point armies, while the Warhammer Ancient Battles Doubles Tournament will give two-player teams a chance compete for top honors.
