Hello everyone!

I have been playing eldar for about 4 years now, and while a lot of eldar players make dramatic back-stories for their craftworld, I never have. Mainly I just really haven’t sat down and thought about what I would like my craftworld to be about. Well after mulling this over for a month or so and thinking up a few different scenarios, I think I have narrowed it down to one choice. Part of the reason I have narrowed it down to one idea was that last night I was messing around with a chapter approved book, and came up with a pretty cool conversion idea, and at the same time giving me a center piece that would be around the theme of my army. Here you go, tell me if you think it would be ok, too good, not good enough or just plain stupid 

Cost: 170 pts. Elite choice
Unit type: monsterous creature
Wargear: shruiken cannon, 2x CCW, modified shimmershield (5+ inv save always)
Special rules: fleet of foot, bladestorm, aspect warriors, fearless

WS-4 BS-4 S-7 T-7 A-3(4) W-3 I-5 LD-10 Sv-3+\5+ inv

Fleet of foot: as per 40k rule book
Bladestorm: as long as it has remained stationary in its last movement phase, the MC may unload its entire ammo clip in on turn, doubling the rate of fire with its shruiken cannon, but it may not shoot or use the special rule: fleet of foot the the next turn as it will need the entire shooting phase to reload.
Aspect warriors: having been made up of countless soul-stones that once belonged to the aspect dire avengers, one may only be fielded for every 2 squads of dire avengers taken as troop choices, also if the unit leaves the vicinity of a squad of dire avengers, it reverts to its basic wraith-bone like nature, not having the fire of the god Asur to guide its path to the destruction of its enemies. If the MC is more than 12” away from a squad of dire avengers, it is subject to wraithsight checks.

With my eldar, I generally don’t run a mech-style list. The most I’ll play is 2 falcons, rarely, or 1 falcon and a serpent. And after thinking of the fluff for my craftworld, I realized that I almost always use 2-3 squads of avengers, and that for the most part I run a walking style army. So a MC that looks like a dire avenger, works the same as one-just bigger\better, allows me to base it off of a wraith lord body with a lot of potential for converting (shruiken cannon gun-blade anyone?) while not giving a Godzilla eldar army even a possibility in anything less than 2500pts(for 3 lords and 3 of these with the requirement of avengers is 1947 pts) sounds fair to me. Also, it having fleet should not be an issue since there are quite a few walkers, and MCs that have something like this, or flat-out wings giving them 12” movements.

Most of the people I play with have said its pretty fair, with advantages and disadvantages, as well as a good conversion idea, but I just wanted to make sure I’m not missing something.

What do you guys think?

Oh and I cannot for the life of me come up with a decent name…..dire lord\wraith avenger\avenger lord etc. any suggestions would be great!

I don't know about fairness as I'm not really that much of a mathematics/ rules buff. But for the name I'd go with Avenger Lord or Wraith Avenger. Dire Lord sounds unfinished to me.

yea those 2 names stuck out to me the most, but without going into the math on it, does it seem playable? or just not worth it?
