Heavy support Dread tllc ml 140 pts

All these equal 1500pts option 1 i can only do if i pick up the land raiders this week which doesnt look possible but i might be able to borrow them from a friend and im not sure if i like taking the dread.

I am also thinking maybe dropping the dreads in 2 & 3 and taking a land raider but that would be a huge fire magnet

Option 2 and 3 i can do no problem so if any one has any suggestions let me know.

This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

Small question-why would you replace the Grand Master's default weapon with a power weapon (even if it is Master-Crafted)? In his hands the Nemesis FW is a +2S Power Weapon that also counts as a Force Weapon.

Grey Knights Terminators are great and all of your lists have some, so keep with that.

I would lean towards options 2 or 3.

Rationale:

With option 2 you brought the Vindicare. With him you can pick out and eliminate choice targets (Assault Cannon terminators, lasconnon/plasma carriers, etc.). The problem this list has is extremely low model count (also are you sure that you can take squads of only 4 Grey Knights in the troops slot?)

Option 3 brings the extra bodies necessary to give the list some staying power. I would consider making that last squad 6 knights like the others though and bring the dual psycannons.

Both 2 & 3 also utilize the dreads you will need to fight vehicles.

Looking at the squad's points, I think that's 4 knights AND 1 justicar for a min squad of 5. Which means almost all of the squads have an odd number in them, which personally I avoid. Even models mean they have to kill 1 more to deny it being a scoring unit.

Whoops, I forgot the Justicars were 50 pts. I would second your suggestion that squad sizes be adjusted to even numbers unless the original poster is trying to prove to his opponents that he doesn't care about such things.

I am sure he meant force weapon. GK squads should number six. Upgrade your term bro captain so you have two Psycannons in each term squad. Incinerators are points wasted. Landraiders should be saved for higher point values (above 1500) and two dreads with TL and missile launchers for under 1500. I only take a psychic hood against eldar as your aegis is sufficient against all else.

Well thank you for all the input.
For the grand master i replace the storm bolter with a power weapon to give him a extra ccw which gives him 6 attacks on the charge and use scourging for shooting. 6 str 6 attacks seems to work better than 5 on the charge and a stormbolter.

Lemartes is right i did mean the force weapon.

As far as squad size for troops GKs only have to take a justicar and two knights at the least.
I have tried relying on the aegis but a psychic hood can stop psychic powers like a force weapon or what that damn mephiston has and so far its worked better for me.

Hood does not stop a Force weapon.

How? In the book it says a psychic hood allows a daemonhunter to nullify a psyker's power. Using a force weapon is a psychic power and so far the only units that can use them are psykers. So maybe i dont understand the rules completely but please let me know how it cant.

Aegis can let you stop eating a force weapon hit by ignoring the psychic power.

Hood only lets you try and stop the power from going off. If it does, you die.

So Hood first, then Aegis.

In the book you can use a psychic hood or the ageis not both. Which i read at the worst possible time trying to save my dread from a warp blast .
