Just wanted to know if a Land Speeder could be equipped with both an assault cannon, and a multi-melta? I see both sides...it's just wording really.....wanted to know the general concensus...or the correct answer.

You can get one or the other, or neither.
Then you can replace the heavy bolter with a typhoon MML if you want to.

Depends on which army you play
Dark angel tornados can take a multi-melta/assault cannon combo, C:SM cannot as they either have to go HB/assault cannon or heavy flamer/multi-melta

@ Stelek-yeah it's true. I hated that when I found out...
@mughi3- They are expensive though. Can be effective against all types of enemy which is nice,combined with thier speed!.

MeanGreenStompa - The only chatbot I ever tried talking to insisted I take a stress pill and kept referring to me as Dave, despite my protestations.

Frazzled[Mod] On Rule #1- No it literally means: be polite. If we wanted less work there would be no OT section.

It actually goes back to our old 3rd edition dark angels fluff. every land speeder fielded by the ravenwing had to be a tornado. but we had the option of swiitching out the HB for a melta, now we have less acess to tornados, but we can still do the switchout.

@ Mughi3- I did not know that! 
I had a gap of avout 12 years, from RT to 4th Ed, so missed ALOT!
Glad I came back when I did though. I am a little OCD when it comes to 'collecting' things for a hobby. So now I can justify 100's of figs and a few SHV's/Titans to the GF!  Apocalypse....

dont forget the blood angles can have ass cannon and mm but very costly in points.(i use 2 of them).
