For the next 12 hours I am making dakka run a bit slower than it has been so that I can get some data on the server capacity. This is just temporary and I am sorry if it causes annoyance for anyone!

Dakka is back to full speed now and I have released a minor update to fix a couple of glitches.

Previously, PM notification emails were being sent regardless of your settings in your profile. Now they will be blocked if you dont want them, but you must update your profile to say this as they are all defaulted to 'on' right now.

Quick suggestion...this kind of info would be great on the main home page instead of tucked away in this forum. Honestly, I was kinda wondering what was up with the site the other day. Unfortunately I only just found this thread.

We always put the main changes on the home page when needed, but the minor tweaks are not really worth bothering 90% of people with, so we tend to leave them in this forum for those of you who are curious.
